We bought these as a pad for 2 rugs we gave our son. Both are very textural and need a pad to be installed on hardwood floors. We like the rubber backing for the pads keeps anyone from slipping and it also protects the floor from our granddogs nails (he acts like a puppy even though he is now a 'senior'). Highly recommend - adds a bit of cushion, protects the floors and no more stepping out of bed onto a bare floor. Comes folded up, but flattens out nicely when the rug is installed over it. Highly recommend this pad - safety and a very good value!

I bought this because I like to sit on the floor and so I wanted a nice, cuchy pad underneath my rug. I looked for a rug with natural rubber because I absolutely do not like weird chemical smells. This mat has no odor. It is even cushier than I had hoped for. Also, it was very easy to cut to size and install under my rug. The rug does not slip over it. Also, the mat seems very well made. I say this because when I cut it, it cut very cleanly with no fraying. There are cheaper mats out there, but this one is a great value, especially if you like more natural materials.

I found these little lifesavers while I was endlessly searching for a solution to my hot floors. These apartments were built in 1960’s and back then they didn’t have construction standards to put the hot water pipes farther down into the ground. My kitchen is 10° hotter than the rest of the house due to hot water pipes that run close to the surface. These have helped take down the temperature in that room 5 to 8° doesn’t seem like much but believe me when it’s 80 outside and it’s 90 in the house. I’ll take a drop of 5’ Temp drop any day!

A few years ago I bought two Aopota 2'x6' "non slip" rug runners. In actual use the carpet moves. I then ordered a few weeks later two Veken 2'x6' rug pad grippers. This was 50% better, but the carpet still moves. It FINALLY got down to safety. I needed something that DID NOT MOVE. I finally found the solution in buying this 1/8" felt/rubber pad. (1/4" pad will be too thick for a small carpet. But I needed to bind the two together purchasing a roll of Kaiwo 4" carpet tape. THIS RUG DOES NOT MOVE!!! (tape is difficult to cut with sissors, use a slice blade to the non sticky side?)

Highly recommend this rug pad. We ended up getting a smaller rug for it and just cut the mat to the correct size which was super easy. It’s so comfortable to stand on, we’re considering getting more to go under our other rugs as well.

We bought the product because the information on the Amazon website stated that it was compatible with hardwood floors and laminate. It was also stated on the website that it was 1/4” thick. When the product arrived no where in the supplied information was floor compatibility mentioned, just a statement saying you needed to check. Also the enclosed information stated that the thickness was 1/4” but the thickness is actually 1/8”.

Great product. I was worried I’d have to spend time flattening it out but I didn’t! Nice and cushy.

Great product. Easy to cut to fit our runner and provides great cushioning. This product also provides great slip resistance on our tile floors.
