Fantastic security camera and supporting app.
Great security camera. Ignore any negative reviews. I can assure you its all down to user error. i have 6 cameras in UK home and one in Spanish property. Easy to set up just make sure router name exactly as phone Wifi when setting up and 2.4 as some routers produce more than one named connection. App very intuitive. brilliant picture quality all as seller description. fully configurable routines including away, home and night modes. You can also easily configure your own. Human detection, zone exclusion, notification, configurable and auto detection sensitivity are just some of the impressive features. Highly reccommd at this price level.

A good security camera, easy to install and functional over a long period of time.
I have more than a dozen of IMOU cameras, including 6 of these dual cameras, and all were easy to install and none have malfunctioned to date, some are nearly 2 years old. I find the dual cameras useful because they allow me to scan two areas simultaneously eg I can have one camera (the fixed lens) covering my drive, which I want to do continuously, and the other (the moveable lens) scanning the garden. I use the IMOU cloud back up for some of the cameras, which gives me a record when I’m away of what’s happening around my property. I good security camera at an inexpensive price.

Great camera for peace of mind.
I’ve been using the IMOU Dual-Lens 2K+2K Indoor Security Camera for a while now and I’m pretty impressed. The dual-lens setup, with one fixed and one pan/tilt, covers pretty much the whole room so I don’t have to worry about blind spots. The picture quality is nice and sharp in both day and night, and the colour night vision actually works really well. I like that it’s got a privacy mode too, so I can turn it off when I’m home. I use a micro-SD card for local storage, but it does offer cloud storage if you want it. The only catch is you have to pay extra for certain features – £6.49 a month for AI tracking or £8.99 a month if you want 30-day cloud storage. One thing I’ve noticed is that when the camera moves, the motor noise completely drowns out the microphone so you can’t hear voices until it stops moving.Overall, aside from the paid extras and the motor noise, I think it’s a great little camera that gives me loads of coverage and peace of mind in a spare room house.

Really good quality and decent camera
Love this camera, I already had a basic Imou one lens camera, this one has more visibility and really clear picture. Nice to be able to see almost all of a room.Bought to use as a pet camera checking up on kittens, but my partner actually then bought a load for his work to use as basic cctv, very good price for the quality. My old imou camera going strong after couple years so I'm hoping this will too.It can pick up pet detection and human detection, sensitive (does get triggered by moths) after a night of use with my poor confused kittens I realised this has a very bright night light that comes on with detection of any movement in the dark but it was easy to turn this off.Don't forget to buy the memory cards if you want to be able to save when it picks up motion and look back at recorded movements. You can pay monthly for cloud saving with imou (I think they can store more memory) but I just got simple Amazon micro SD card which is just a one off payment and saves many weeks of data.

Imou camera Review Update
WiFi would not connect after trying twice I connected via ethernet which worked.Sadly there are a number of issues encountered.1) I was unable to delete unwanted video from the cloud storage.2) when using the local drive a 64Gbyte micro sd card, once inserted it had to be specially formatted to accommodate a strange jpeg format and mpeg format, probably encrypted . There is a means of deleting files when using the local drive, however the card once formatted any files on it are impossible to open under Win22 or Linux when inserted as an additional drive. The only way I have discovered is to use the download function in the app. My android phone was then able to transfer any video for running on a PC either windows or Linux.3) There seemed to be a bug whereby unwanted video was recorded of nothing. No movement detected but the lenses being recognised every so often which led to the many unwanted recordings. It appeared that this event triggered the start of a recording for several minutes.I shall not be using the cloud storage option after the 14 day trial.I would estimate that only 10% of actual recordings were actual pet motion triggers.A movement trigger sensitivity needs to be in the software to avoid these unwanted recordings.7 days laterAfter further evaluation after the 7 Day free trial had elapsed, Idiscovered to my chagrin that the camera functions with the app providedbut does not record to the local micro SD card device. Please confirm that this is the case and that unless I sign up to yourexpensive cloud storage I cannot record locally. If you confirm then I will have no choice but to return this product toAmazon. To avoid this return, please allow MY device to record locally.Otherwise the review stands and this is just another scam product that thepurchaser does not own.Local recording is tied to an expensive cloud subscription.Products that try this do not last long.Other steps will also be taken to ensure that this behaviour by yourcompany is broadcast to a wider audience. This can be avoided if you make it clear in your product description thatlocal recordings are disabled once the free trial subscription or paidsubscription is cancelled.
