I had a problem with this item. It was advertised to be compliant with LG A9 models.This Item failed to insert properly in my Shark sweeper/vac. The fitment was extremely tight, the sweeper/vac did not function, and was very difficult to remove. Same scenario with the charger unit.I returned it the next morning. The only place I was able to find an exact replacement (part number and picture) was at the LG website for $130+ U.S.Fortunately, I have a second functional battery.Still searching.

My LG Cord Zero is almost 5 years old and the two batteries that came with it are getting shorter run times. With the power rotating brush head attached, they won't quite finish vacuuming my tile areas without switching to the second battery. This single replacement battery was able to finish the full area like the LG batteries could do when they were new. They're also less expensive that the OEM battery. But, all isn't perfect.These look identical to the OEM battery packs, but not quite. First, they are 1 ounce lighter, so they definitely don't have the same storage cells inside. Second, and this is the important difference, they don't fit properly without modifying the case a little bit. If you look at the first photo, I show what's wrong, The battery post is 1 millimeter too long and it won't fit in the vacuum or the charging base without forcing. It does work and recharge when it is forced into place, but you won't be able to remove the pack without prying it out with a screwdriver. The OEM batteries snap in and out effortlessly.I modified this battery pack by filing off some of the plastic on the ends of the contact area. After modifying the housing, it will now slide into place properly and detach without needing to pry it out.This is a conditional recommendation because, it can be made to work properly, but might not be the right choice for everyone.

This battery looks the same as the OEM battery for the LG A9 vacuum cleaner but is extremely hard to completely insert into the slot on the handle of the cleaner. Once forced in, the vacuum works. But it is even harder to remove the battery. I had to use a screwdriver and it took me nearly 10 minutes to get it out. The fit is definitely off. I returned it promptly.

I reviewed another aftermarket CordZero A9 battery and this one suffers the same problems. This battery looks and feels near identical to the LG OEM battery on the CordZero A9. For comparison, I put the LG battery on a scale and it weighed out at 447 grams and has a labeled rating of 1900mAh. This replacement battery weighs only 418 grams, and claims to have a capacity of 2400mAh. There's no way that this battery has increased capacity at reduced weight. Nonetheless, it does charge, and certainly lasts longer than the 1-3 minutes of my four year old LG batteries, and at a price significantly lower than the OEM batteries directly from LG.The biggest issue I encountered with this replacement battery, is that once inserted, it was EXTREMELY hard to remove. The OEM LG battery slides in and out without issue. The only way I was able to remove this replacement battery from the vacuum was to remove all accessories from the vacuum, place it upside down between my legs, wiggle the battery just enough to get a wide flathead screwdriver under the battery lip, squeeze the removal tabs, and using the screwdriver under the battery lip to pull straight out. DO NOT PRY or attempt to use the screwdriver as a lever, or you will likely damage the plastic housing around the vacuum! After a bit of work, I was able to free the battery. Upon further inspection, it looks like the metal contacts on the battery terminal are closer together than the OEM LG battery, kind of functioning as a third lock once inserted. I did not try charging the battery in the secondary battery charging slot, in fear that I wouldn't be able to get enough leverage to pull the battery out.It charges and lasts longer than 4-year old LG batteries, is cheaper than LG, but the capacity is exaggerated, and unless you want to break out a screwdriver each time to swap batteries, you might be better off sticking with replacements directly from LG.

It is SO extremely hard to insert and remove from the charging station and the LG cordless vacuum, I need tools to help me as leverage to be able to get it out. I will send this back
