Good first camera for younger children
Considering the relatively low price this children’s camera is quite good. Everything required is in the box including a 32GB microSD card. Unlike some of the very cheap children’s cameras available this model boasts a flash and a second selfie camera lens on the rear. The specs state 10x optical zoom but this is in fact incorrect the zoom is digital only, with the associated drop in picture quality. The manually rotated ‘zoom lens’ is actually just a dial which increases/decreases the digital zoom. The screen is not very high resolution but is a good size at 3.5” and perfectly adequate for a kid’s camera. The same is true of the plastics used in the camera body, clearly quite cheap but serve the purpose. I’m not sure how long lived this camera will be if abused, for instance I don’t think it would survive much of a drop onto something hard, so probably good that a lanyard/wrist strap is included. Photo and video quality is okay but if your children become interested in photography after using this you will soon want to move on to something more serious.Priced at £30 at time of review this is a little more expensive than the very basic cheapest alternatives but the specs are slightly better. Personally I’d only really recommend this for younger children - perhaps max 7 years - as a far better quality and spec’ed proper digital camera from a major brand can be picked up second hand for a similar price. I would still categorise this camera as a toy.

Lightweight good first camera
The kids really enjoyed using this camera. Function-wise, you can take photos and videos, and there are a few games included, which the kids spent way too much time on, they didn't find the photo frames or filters, I'll need to take a look the next time I'm over.It takes a little getting used to in order to get to what you need, and it has a very loud, annoying beep every time you push. button, not sure if that can be removed. Even my brother-in-law was impressed, his main complaint was there was no button to get to the pictures quickly - you have to navigate to each function.Comes with a 32GB Card included as well.

Great for kids
This is a good entry level camera that is good value for money.Given I dont want to be giving my younger kids my phone to take pictures this is a good entry level camera with everything they need int he box (including a small SD card)Simple and intuitive to use the resolution is not as good as a proper camera or high resolution phone but its enough for them to zoom in and out, be creative with shots, and then import the SD to a laptop or tablet to then play with some simple art programmes. At £30 its good value too.

Fun and educational
Giving this kids' camera to my children has been a great decision. The high-definition screen and versatile features like cartoon frames and colour filters keep them entertained for hours. It’s easy to use, even for younger kids, and the built-in games add extra fun. The included 32GB memory card is a nice bonus, offering plenty of storage for photos and videos. The battery life is decent, though it could last a bit longer. Overall, it's a wonderful gift for children.
