I'm glad I copied the pulmonologists and respiratory therapist!!!
This is a quality, pulse oximeter. Very accurate. It may be more expensive, but we'll worth it.

Great SPo2 for Dark Skin
I have used several blood oxygen sensors including ring and wrist versions and Nonin’s TruO2 is the best. It’s the most accurate finger tip SPo2 that I’ve been able to find for dark skin. I didn’t know there was a bias with other monitors until I did some research and found that other blood oxygen sensors on the market have a larger error +- variance.Being an iPhone user, the app syncs with HealthKit as well so I’m able to capture and store SPo2 data and share it with my doctor.Highly recommended for those of us who have dark skin and require accuracy.

NOT ANDROID COMPATIBLE! iOS/Apple only! And WAY OVERPRICED!
DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU ARE AN ANDROID MOBILE PHONE USER.There are no Android apps for this OR ANY OTHER Nonin pulse oximeter. I've looked. There are ZERO Nonin apps on the Google Play store - not even third party Nonin-compatible mobile apps, let alone by the Nonin company itself.Sure, there are a few GitHub projects, none recent. But the average person on the street buying a Nonin pulse ox isn't going to be able to use those, and I can't either.Nonin doesn't care about Android users, apparently. Only people with iPhones and iPads.
