These are perfect for a quick grip change. I got a stock shaft online and it came with a brand new standard grip. I use midsize and felt horrible about possibly replacing a brand new grip.These worked perfectly. Once I got it wrapped around and secured, it felt like a new midsize grip. So yes, it does make it a little thicker but that's what I wanted.The grip tape itself is tacky and squishy. Definitely helps make gripping your club a lot easier with less grip pressure.When it comes time to replace the grip tape, I probably won't feel as bad changing stock grip out and will probably change the grips the old fashioned way.Highly recommend for a quick and easy grip change.

From the description it looked like these grips would work for softball bats. I wasn't disappointed. The pack is a great way to get a few grips very cheap.

The wraps come with tape to finish the bottom of the wrap. I found that if I overlapped the edges as I wrapped the grip (there is a distinct smooth edge of about 1/8") there was always enough wrap to complete a club. I ended up having to trim a couple of the wraps short when the original grip was thinner than the others and would have run out onto the shaft. The hardest part was getting the second turn because it required rerouting the wrap to get the overlap - not wanting to leave a wad of wrap on the butt end of the grip. This results in some minor bulges in the first turn, but after that it was all smooth. The other thing I did was wipe down the original grips with Clorox wipes to make sure the surface was clean so the over-wrap tape would have something to stick to other than accumulated detritus. I like the feel, so now the question is how well they will hold up. Also, I was wrapping 13 clubs - so I had to buy 3 sets, which is a minor pain - having to buy 18 wraps to get the 13 that I needed. I may replace the closure tape with something a bit beefier - not that what comes with the wrap will fail. I was looking for a slightly thicker grip and softer feel than my stock grips and this should do the trick - I hope. I will try to remember to get back with a longer-term review once I have played with them for a few rounds.

Having trouble with gripping my clubs but not sure if an oversize grip was for me so I researched wraps for my existing club grips. I ended up ordering the Champkey and Self Control and have to say there is no comparison. The picture shows my club grip on left, champkey in middle and self control on right for an idea of the look and girth. The champkey is thicker, has adhesive all the way down the wrap and is much better material. The Self control was literally starting to split and flake in spots as I was putting it on. Champkey also had a nice tacky feel. Both have a spongy feel but besides feeling different I did not notice a difference when hitting the ball,

Need better tape.

Putting the regrips on was easy. They felt nice, and they work well. But, there should be some thin tape at the bottom to hold the wrap on. The regrip started peeling away at the bottom right away. I can't even find the right tape for it. They should have provided some with the kit.

Easy to use

This is my 4th type of wrap over the past 3 years. Better durability and good feel. My favorite.
