Worked Perfectly!
Easy to install! Directions were a breeze to follow. Fit was better than new OEM! Quality appears excellent as I've been using this for several months now with no more issues. Plenty of YouTube videos to show you what to expect. Use a regular size pair of Channel-lock pliers. Installation took less than 5 minutes!

It works!!! GMC Savana 3500
Driving back from San Diego to South Texas we stopped to get gas at a station in the middle of nowhere. When we went to start back up the transmission wouldn't shift. Husband got under the truck and found the bushing had disintegrated. We rigged it with zipties to get home and ordered some replacements from amazon and got another set locally from an auto parts store. Spent over an hour trying to get one of them to fit into the cable but no luck. Found this system and it actually named our Savana on the package and the kit totally made sense for installing it onto a truck in the driveway. Husband put a little grease on it and it popped into place in under a minute. Just wish we could get a few extra backup bushings for those 3000 mile round trips.

Perfect fit and easy repair
Works great and was super easy to install. It took maybe total 5 minutes to complete the repair on my Tahoe. Took longer to Jack the car up then to make the actual repair.

Worth the extra price for ease of installation, but 1 note for company in description.
It's just a bit tricky to make it work without the car on a lift. The channel-locks kept slipping off the plastic or the mounting pieces would pop off. Once I got it set deep enough for it to NOT pop off, it was pretty slick. I moved the channel-lock to the side to allow the orange piece to slip through the hole in the middle. This was more expensive than 10 other options. But those options didn't include the 2 piece mounting kit. (Local auto parts stores didn't even offer this option, but just a bag with 5 different sizes of bushings that didn't fit.) Well worth the additional price, because I wasted 2 hours trying to make ill-fitting parts from Autozone and O'Reillys fit, without success. My only complaint and why I rated 4 instead of 5 starts.. these plastic parts are maybe 10 cents worth of plastic. For $25, the company could include a 2nd set and still make out like a bandit. I actually have 2 trucks they would fit, and I have had to replace both. I'm not looking for a 3D print file, so I can just make my own next time.

something that is necessary . . . . stupid expensive!!
Save your time and effort. You need this. It looks 3D printed. Simple device. I am not a mechanic. As you can see from the photo, everything is in plain site. I did not need to lift the car. (2011 Chevy Tahoe) Easy to get to. Because of how that grommet has to "click" into place, nightmare. Nothing worked. Either the grommet collapsed under pressure trying to squeeze it in or tore it trying to use something similar to push it into place. Wasted so much time for a simple repair. I broke down and ordered it. Could not find it locally in any of the parts places. Wasted 90 minutes trying to get this grommet installed. From the time it took to crawl under the car, insert the grommet and press it into place might have been 10 minutes. I followed the instruction and it "clicked" into place on the first try. I was pressed for time and had to order it. Had I known i would have waited the extra day or two to get it locally much cheaper. Bottom line, you got to have the tool. definitely not mechanic quality. did it get the job done. Yes. Easy to use, yes. I think at the very least they could have tossed in a few extra grommets. Just in case.

Fixed my problem
This was a little challenging to install, but when installed correctly it solved my connection problem. It's been installed for over a year with no problems or issues.

Did not last
I've been an automotive professional for 40 years. I used this for my 6L90 transmission in my 2013 GMC truck. It was easy to install and fit the cable end well. I used a small amount of silicone grease on the tapered end of the bushing to ease pressing it into the eyelet of the cable. This bushing is not an exact replacement for the factory bushing in my application. It does fit the cable end and the bearing surface of the manual shaft lever of the transmission exactly. However, there is nothing to retain the cable onto the manual shaft lever with this bushing except the side torsional force of the cable keeping it on the manual shaft lever. The factory design bushing has a small ball socket that snaps onto the manual shaft lever end. It was necessary to install a circlip around the ball socket to insure the cable end would not pop off. This temporarily solved my problem for about 2 months before the bushing itself crumbled (pictured). I found the remains in the driveway under the unshiftable transmission. The plastic used to make this bushing does not feel as robust as the factory bushing material. For me, I found this product to be a waste of money. I purchased a factory cable, took out the bushing and installed it into the existing cable. I can't recommend this product.
