I got this as a post-surgical vest upon recommendation by my surgeon. I was measured at the office by the PA, so I know that to my best knowledge, I purchased the appropriate size (small). After a couple days of wear, the vest loosened considerably and I got fluid build up in my chest. The vest itself is a single layer of thin elastic material. It's fairly breathable and not bothersome to wear, as long as you fasten all the hooks. The hooks themselves are sturdy and effective. Beware that it has a tendency to stretch out after some hours of wear. This product didn't work for me.

Fits perfect and has 2 levels of adjustments. Creates an even compression against chest and belly. I’m 3 weeks post op and no fluid build up. Secret is to get the right size. If you measure your chest before surgery remember it will go down about 5 inches so make sure you take that into consideration. Fabric is really comfortable (Considering what it is) and breathable. Much better than the compression vest provided by my surgeon. Great value.

These are great. I had emergency abdominal surgery in 2015 and will have to wear these PLUS an elastic binder around my waist for the rest of my life because I sneezed in the hospital room and got a hernia which has expanded and covers my entire abdomen. They don't think a mesh will work to correct it and keep my 'guts' inside. I wear it 23.5 hours a day and have a whole collection of them. I noted that they fit 'Somewhat Small' but because I need the extra 'power', I like it that way.

Purchased for wear post-surgery. I initially thought it might be too small as I was at the upper limit of the size range but fit perfect following surgery. Easy to put on without any assistance. I recommend you go with as tight a fit as comfortable to minimize pain and swelling. I purchased a second once I realize how comfortable this was. Same or better quality but less expensive than medical supply company products.

This vest runs small. Had to get an X-large for my husband 40" chest. But it is great. Much more comfortable than the wrap that we were using. Does not ride up. Much easier to put on. Great, made a bad situation much better for us.

The seams under the armpits are very uncomfortable. They're rough and pointy and make my arm pits hurt if I do any movement. This vest also holds in a lot of heat. Made me way too hot all day.Vest does its job otherwise. Hooks are easy to use and it has a nice tight fit to hold things in place. They have different levels of hooks if you want it tighter. I find that there wasn't a noticeable difference between the two levels.

Honestly, it's a good compression but stretches out after a couple of uses. On top of that, the chest area needs more compression post op and this doesn't offer enough. Don't drop over 4k on gyne surgery and skimp out on the compression is what I've learned. I recently purchased contourmd compression vest. You can visit their site. They have a 25 dollar option as well as an 85 dollar option here on Amazon. So far it's been great and doesn't ride up along the day.

I am a 17 year old kid and sadly I suffer from gynecomastia. I got teased a lot for having "man boobs" and it made me very insecure about myself. I searched for ways to hide it and I finally ran across this and I have to say I love it. It fits so comfortably and feels so nice. It compresses my chest in so good you could never tell I suffer from gynecomastia. Honestly I never leave the house without it. If anyone have the same problem I have I strongly suggests this shirt.
