The Good, The Bad, The Verdict
The Good- Memory foam is nice and solid which means that it's feel secure- Cut out is perfect and allows your leg to sit in without much chance of movement and no chance of your leg falling off the side- Soft exterior cover- Exterior cover can be removed for easy washingThe Bad- The length of the cushion is slightly too long if you have a broken leg and are trying NOT to put your heal down (I am 6ft 1 and had to really pull the cushion up under my bump to have my heel off the edge)- The runway section (triangle up to the flat piece) could do with being adjustable/shorter to allow for a higher raised position but shorter cushion. The VerdictIf you have broken your leg/ankle etc then I would highly recommend this (or something like it) this has been an absolute life saver with sleeping on my back and ensuring that I have the confidence that my leg won't fall off the side. As other reviewers have stated however, if you need to keep your heel elevated you will need to be quite tall, pull the cushion right under your bum/back or (like I did) use an additional small cushion on top to raise your heel mid way.

Broken limb? don’t wait. Just buy it.
I broke my ankle, dislocated my foot, and had a spiral fracture of the fibula. For two long weeks we fiddled with stacks of cushions, pillows, and blankets. Often several times a night my partner would have to get up and rearrange them, only to repeat the process minutes after I thought I was comfortable.I had my doubts about spending this money on a “cushion”. Surely it wouldn’t be any different?Well, I can safely say, I wish I hadn’t spent the 2 weeks without this cushion before I bought it. If you’ve broken a lower limb and need to keep it elevated and comfortable, then BUY THIS NOW.It’s soft yet firm, of the perfect dimensions, and cradles the leg so your desire to fidget is entirely removed. No longer do you feel unstable or precariously balanced on an assortment of different pillows and cushions. You’ll just put your leg on this cushion and forget about it for the rest of the day / night. I can finally relax during the day and sleep during the night, allowing my leg to heal as intended. You can’t put a price on your comfort when you’ve got a broken limb. This cushion is invaluable. You will not regret your purchase.

Perfect after surgery
I ordered this after calf surgery as I had read that it was important to keep your foot vertical, not leaning to the side as it does naturally. This works perfectly and is extremely comfortable and supportive when wearing a surgical boot. I use it on a footstool which brings it to the height of the sofa. I did try resting my foot on it in bed, but I found that too high and uncomfortable.

Useful but longer than expected
I ordered this as was struggling to find an effective way to elevate my leg after knee replacement. It is much longer and higher than I anticipated (but have to confess did not look too closely at measurements) and too bulky and high to use in bedIt has a nice blue velvet feel cover and is comfortable although perhaps not 100% what I was looking for as I need to keep knee straight. This can be achieved by putting a firm pillow on top though.

Perfect for Foot Surgery
Recently had surgery done on my foot and was worried about stacking regular pillows and having them slide off the edge of the bed. Found this and I am so glad I did! It is perfect, holds my leg up comfortably, the foam is soft yet firm so it holds its shape without losing out on comfort. Seriously cannot fault it! Definitely recommend 5*

Gave me the nights sleep I'd been dreaming of!
I was recently involved in accident resulting in me breaking my fibula and tibia (don't reccomend doing that) so following my surgery to pin my leg back into place I've been struggling to keep it comfortable, especially at night which seems to be when the aching and pain sets in most. Prior to this I had it propped up on pillows which wasnt great as my leg would shift and I could never tell when I had I straight. I also have to prevent pressure on my knee so it's quite fiddly. I would often wake in the night due to the discomfort. The afternoon this arrived I propped my leg up and then fell asleep for 3 solid hours!! It has taken the stress off myself and my partner trying to put my leg in a position (it wont stay in) to sleep and provides a lot of comfort when my leg gets tired after being up and about for a bit (I can weight bare - it just sucks!) Or doing my physio exercises.I did think it's a little on the pricey side but I've come to realise it's worth it. If you've had leg surgery and just want something to keep you comfortable without the stress of faffing with 25 pillows I would thoroughly reccomend this item.

Helped with long recovery after serious ankle fracture
My wife tried lots of ways of elevating her leg after she sustained a serious fracture of her ankle. That first month was the most painful and she tried many solutions. Most were either flat surfaced memory foam wedges - and so concentrated the pressure in one place - or were soft cushions that folded round her foot but were less stable and covered a smaller area. This item was stable and because of its size, was able to accommodate the entire lower leg. The curved inner surface helped with the weight distribution resulting in greater comfort - importantly allowing prolonged periods of elevation without getting fed up of a particular pressure here or there. It's very big - which is a good thing - and it comes vacuum packed for a smaller package. The covering is a soft velour type of fabric and it seems well made and durable. She used it mostly downstairs (on a footstool) for those long days of recovery.

Enviada a tiempo
