Arrived with chipped paint and screws package open. Very light weight. Instructions don't match product. Ir says to put nuts through holes in both parts but only one side has holes

I recently purchased a new patio door from the big orange store and the sliding panel was supposed to include a handle, but it was missing. I figured it would be easier to just get one myself than try to deal with the store. So I picked this up and it works perfectly. It fit into the holes that were already in the panel and the actuator for the lock lined up and works great. Now I just need to install the door!

I need a new handle and lock for my. sliding glass door. Guess I should have waited until I got home from vacation to order. My bad since this doesn't fit. My fault since they listed all the measurements. I thought it was a standard size but my door is older and in all honesty the whole door should be replaced since there's even some condensation between the panes of glass. But when I replace this lock will be much easier than the ridiculous locks and slight indentation instead of a handle that's on my 80's door. The metal is good quality no plastic garbage. Lock looks secure enough to not need the wooden pole I use for a lock. I'm impressed with the handle and lock now I just need a better door to use it on.
