Do not buy.
Item did not meet expectation. Would like to return it but there is not a return policy. Neither pipes nor chanter can be used for lessons. Total waste of money.

These arent , "Ivory" nor are they serviceable pipes
I had a person ask for help with these at piping lessons. They are not playable quality. You may get noise out of them -maybe- but they are not real pipes. To say they are "Ivory mounts" is down right false advertising. You cant even import Ivory into the US without all sort or permitting and requirements in the rare instances it can be done at all. Pipes today are with Ivory substitutes/plastics , wood or silver mounts. Save your money, buy a nice *practice chanter- not bagpipes. If your new to piping, go to a local band and get a instructor learn the basics, then when he/she says your ready, buy a set of real pipes. A good entry level Plastic/polypenco used set will run you about 500-600 for a basic no frills set . Once at real competition level or for serious playing youll spent about a 1500 minimum for a new set. Some lower end unadorned but playable quality vintage sets-( Hardies, Grainger& Campbell, )sets can be had for 600-700. Dont waste your money here. Amazon does have some good practice chanters for sale here. All quality pipes differ in decorative bling -silver mounts, ferrules, engraving, bag covers ect..reed quality matters moisture systems ect- but a 700 dollar set of McCallums with no bling of decorative mounts will play as well as a 3000 dollar one if the both have a quality bag, reeds, and chanter and drones are tuned correctly -at lastly but most importantly are played by a skilled piper. If you want to learn to be a actual piper know that you CANNOT "teach yourself on YouTube" vids . do the following: Buy a good quality practice chanter they can be had here on Amazon and other piping suppliers.Gibson, McCallum, Hardie, Shepherd, Nial, A good one will come with instruction book and maybe even a instructional CD. 2. Locate a Instructor. Start with a local pipe band they usually teach chanter lessons in exchange for the hopes of creating a new piper for the band, so be aware giving back some time playing in the band is expected in exchange for your free tuition. 3. DO NOT buy bagpipes yet. Piping requires lots of time, money and is frustrating to learn. You can do it, but ut will be WORk and dedication for over a year before you even see /hear results of your work in most cases. Some really good students take less time, some take more. You $. When you are ready for pipes your instructor will tell you and will likely help you pick out a set you can afford. Pipes are a investment. The pipes you see here are cheap materials/ wood- with poor craftsmanship. They are good decorations nothing more-made mostly in Pakistan. They will not play. You do not need pipes right now esp these pipes. You need a practice chanter and a instructor. You can do it just do it right and dont make a bad purchase on this junk.

Crumby product
These bagpipes are junk, like pretty much all bagpipes made in Pakistan. Stay clear! Five star reviews are not real.
