A decent addition to my keyboard collection
I have never used a keyboard with magnetic switches before, but I have used plenty of Akko keyboards, and when I saw the opportunity to order this keyboard, I jumped. It's certainly not exactly what I was expecting. One thing to note, this keyboard doesn't work with ANY of my other cables, including the aviator cable I generally keep my daily keyboard hooked up with. I also cannot hook this up with to any auxiliary USB ports on my PC. For example, my regular keyboard is hooked up to my PC via an aviator cable plugged into a multi-USB device that is plugged into my motherboard. I can't hook this up to that multi-USB device, but have to have it plugged right into my motherboard. The LEDs are a bit dim, so if you like your flashy RGB like I do, this is not a great keyboard for that. It comes with shine-through keycaps and North facing LEDs, but they still don;t shine through nice and bright as I would like, but that's most likely the keycaps themselves. When I remove the keycaps, the lights look nice and bright. There's also not much in the way of cool LED case effects like most AKKO keyboards. Overal the visual appeal of this keyboard is lacking. The keyboard itself is not lacking in performance. While I prefer a 100% keyboard personally, this is a sick little device that's perfect for gaming, or if you prefer minimalist keyboards. the keycaps feel exceptionally smooth and creamy, which leads me to believe that these must be pre-lubed switches. The feel of the magnetic switch is unique and somewhat difficult to quantify, but they feel very similar to my heavier Aqua King switches, and those are my favorite switches by far. The switches are also sensitive enough to register a minimal keystroke, but not so sensitive that a keystroke registers by barely touching the key, like on some models of light and/or sensitive switches.Overall, this is a keyboard that is supposed to work and work well as a stripped down unit. Not many RGB options, no fancy case lights, no wireless options, no unique keycaps. Although lackluster in the visual appeal and feeling department, it performs well, just as well as any keyboard I've used from Akko. I would highly recommend this for the minimalists out there.

A decent keyboard with a few flaws
I want to start this review with a heads-up. I feel this is a great keyboard, but a few of the features turn into flaws, and I honestly wish there was a white version of this one, which doesn't affect my impression of the device. For this unit, I felt it was important to give it a fair review because of the competition that is out there that this company has to compete with.First, lets discuss price. This keyboard, at the time I reviewed it, was $99.99 before tax. this is higher than many other name brands that are out there. I've been buying them for around $79.99, and in my opinion, they are around the same quality as this product. That is the hard part about buying a product these days: the price and what would be the best bang for your money. If I have a company that I've trusted over the years (which are many, not just one), it would be difficult to transition to one that I've never heard of before.Lets talk about quality. The keys and switches on this keyboard feel great! I like that there is the option to swap them out, and I think you would have to buy switches specifically for this keyboard if one of them went bad because I feel that it would need switches from this company. I typed around 20 typing speed test and got around the same results: 67 WPM on this unit. That is around my average, so I can't say I see any advantage in this area. Now, with gaming, there are many settings that I'm going to test out and will update my review if they benefit me in any way, but so far, it seems about the same as well.Overall, it feels great, but the prices need to be lower to compete with other top manufacturers. I would suggest that this keyboard come in white to provide consumers with other options as well. I will keep an eye on this product and if I notice any changes over the next few weeks, I will update accordinglyLast thing to mention, the software needs to be updated and I notice interference while I'm typing. Plus, if you use the gaming mode that is provided, your computer will not be able to speed because of interference to the keyboard.

Exceptional quality, but not for everyone
The Akko Rapid Trigger Gaming Keyboard truly impresses with its Kailh Pink Magnetic switches, which deliver a satisfying feel and a pleasant, clicky sound that enhances the gaming experience. The 60% compact design is stylish and saves desk space, and the shine-through keycaps look fantastic. However, I found the transition from a 65% keyboard challenging due to the absence of arrow keys, F1-F12 keys, delete, and number pad keys, which are crucial for certain games I play and for my day-to-day. While it feels and sounds great, it wasn’t the best fit for my specific needs, and preferably not a keyboard I'd use daily. If you don’t require those keys, this keyboard is a top-notch choice! I didn't think it needed to go down any stars because it's truly a great keyboard, it just doesn't fit my needs.

Responsive and packed with features
The magnetic switches make for incredibly fast and precise keystrokes, especially useful in FPS games. The shine-through keycaps and customizable RGB lighting add a nice touch, but the 60% layout might take some getting used to if you need more keys for everyday tasks.

Missing the little details
This keyboard looks and sounds great. The keys feel well built and it's a heavy well built keyboard overall. Unfortunately, there are little issues. First, the chord it comes with is far too short. It is rare that your PC is within a foot or two of your desktop. And even if so, you want to have slack to move the keyboard around. Yes, you can buy a new chord but this one goes into the port on the keyboard flush and I would have liked it to just be longer. Additionally, and maybe this is user error, but the keyboard does not turn on when I turn my PC on. I have to turn my PC on, and then unplug and plug the keyboard back in to get it to connect. Not ideal.
