JL Childress Gate Check Bag for Standard and Double Strollers (Red)

Great bag. Easily fitted our out and about. Great to also stuff with towels and nappies.

I bought this to protect our buggy when we recently went on holiday. We have a Stokke Scoot (their protective bags are very expensive) and it fit perfectly. The bag withstood baggage handlers but I wouldn't say it could do another trip as it's quite worn in places. Having said that, at this price I didn't expect it to be the type of bag we'd be using for years.

Nice bag. Good size. Took a Joie Mytrax with ease, inc wheels fitted so its larger than advertised. Slight tear following first flight, but protected the pram well. Not waterproof or airtight so not ideal for long term pram storage.

Used for 2 flights and still in great condition - if a little grubby looking. Holds our joie travel system plus some extra bits we put in the bag for the flight e.g. nappies and coats and still has room to spare. It's bright red so really easy to spot when you get to the baggage claim. Would definitely recommend.

We bought this after our buggy got damaged (baggage handlers lifted it by the hood) and very dirty on a flight to Dublin. It's a great idea but the nylon is quite thin and not rip-stop. The stitching ripped right along the bottom of the bag after only its 3rd trip. In fairness, it's probalby not entirely the manufacturer's fault but unless baggage handlers treat gate-checked items better (which they never will), this item needs to be a lot more rugged to withstand the abuse.

I only wish I found this earlier than I did. Britax stroller got damaged when a piece went 'missing' by the airline. It was quite stressful at Heathrow carrying my newborn son in my arms because the missing stroller attachment meant I couldn't use the stroller and car seat combo. We got a full refund from the airline (which was good) but the experience was very bad for me. I bought this immediately I got settled at home in London and have not looked bad ever since. This bag has lasted through multiple trips within Africa, Europe and the US!! It is 2 years old and still going strong. I may buy another when it starts to look too ratty and becomes embarrassing. lol! All in all, it is one of the best 10/15 pounds I ever spent!!!!!

We used one of these bags to transport and protect our Bugaboo Buffalo whilst flying to Greece - whilst it offers no padding, it does ensure that the buggy is kept clean and doesn't snag on the conveyers etc. Our Bugaboo Buffalo fitted fine once I'd removed one of the rear wheels - I used 2x bungees with carabiners to strap the buggy together once folded to make sure all components stayed together. A great alternative to the £110 Bugaboo Comfort bag!

Purchased for our first holiday abroad with a young baby. This enabled us to pack the pram chassis and stroller seat (we have an Oyster 2) away safely and together before we boarded the flight (we simply left the bag at the bottom of the plane steps and the baggage handlers simply put the bag into the hold). It's made of a strong canvas so don't expect any rigidity and it was a snug fit but it stopped our pram getting scuffed and kept the pieces together in transit. Did exactly what we wanted and at a reasonable price. Arrived promptly, would recommend.

Würde bis jetzt für 2 Flüge eingesetzt. Ist nicht defekt und der Buggy wurde optimal geschützt.Würde ihn immer wieder kaufen. Der Buggy ist schnell ein-und wieder ausgepackt.

A nosotros nos fue muy útil para proteger el carro del niño durante el vuelo. Lo llevamos abierto hasta la misma puerta del avión, y una vez allí, lo desmontamos y metimos en la funda para que se lo llevasen. Para los que dudan sobre el tamaño, nosotros metimos un Bugaboo Camaleón y entra sobradamente.

Should have bought it sooner! We went for the larger size and we are so pleased we did as we can out in either both car seats or a seat and a stroller. Is perfect for travel.

Me sirvió muy bien para transportar mi carriola en un vuelo, y cuidarla. Llevas la carriola hasta la puerta del avión, y ya para abordar la guardas, y se la llevan, y te la entregan llegando, así puede ir el bebé más cómodo y tú también, por cuestiones de cargar con equipaje. Tenía pendiente que cupiera por las medidas, pero no tuve ningún problema, me gustó mucho.
