Great budget IEM, must get if you need a good audio + mic combo for casual gaming and calling
Pretty good, if I’m being honest it doesn’t get much better for an iem at this range, I’d probably get it off aliexpress though for like $5 cheaper but the next day delivery on Amazon is obviously what we’re here for. It’ll do anything you need it to, just wish it came with an option to have dsp (type-c) connection, so you can eq on mobile. In all, the bass is good, though at low volumes I notice that some bass heavy songs are somewhat shallow if that makes sense. Once you turn it up, that goes away. I don’t want to say that’s clipping because that usually happens at high volumes but I’m no expert. Would I recommend? Yes. Can you use it for gaming? Yes. Is it as convenient as a normal headset? No. Is the sound stage as good as normal/budget end headsets? Yes. Does it come with many eartips for different ears? Yes.

I like it
pros: - no battery to charge - inline microphone is good - inline controls for volume and play/pause - mids and highs sound good - reasonably comfortable for an hour or so - great for calls - the cable feels high quality - extra tips for differently sized ears cons: - no bass to speak of, as to be expected of drivers this small. Not a great choice for FPS gaming. - inline controls can be a little hard to use by touch alone - included case is just barely big enough. If you need to carry a USB-C dongle it will be difficult to get everything into the case - the box art of an anime girl is embarrassing, but you can throw that way before anybody sees you with it

Great IEM for the price
I got these to use at work since I needed a cheap IEM without a metal shell and these work great. They are very lightweight, but they fit just fine for my ears with larger ear tips. The sound is a bit on the brighter side, but I prefer that anyway. I have heard other reviewers praise the wire but that's what I don't like about these. The wire is thick, but feels very cheap. One of the earhooks on my pair was also not shaped properly and I had to heat it up and bend it back in shape. Other than that, I have no issue with these so far

Great quality earbuds!
If you're someone like me who isn't necessarily an audiophile and just wants a good pair of wired earbuds for cheap, I promise you these won't disappoint!! The sound quality on these earbuds is seriously amazing. I've been able to hear a lot more details in my music that I wasn't able to hear before. The build itself seems to be plastic, but it feels like very sturdy plastic, so I don't think I'm gonna have to worry about it breaking in the near future. The cable also has a very nice quality feel to it, so there's no need to purchase a better one. I was initially worried as the earbuds seemed to hurt my ears, but I think that was moreso my ears adjusting to wearing IEMs for the first time, now they're so comfy to me that I've slept with them on multiple times. I move a lot when I'm sleeping though, so I end up yanking them out in my sleep. Not a problem for me since I need to hear my alarm in the morning, but good to note. The IEMs come with a nice leather bag to store them in. I don't use them most of the time since I just wrap them around my iPod, but it's nice to have for travel. The volume control on the mic is good to have, but just note that it might not work on some older devices. It doesn't work on my iPod and my older laptop, but that's not much of a problem for me. As far as the mic goes, I've called once using it before and had no complaints from the receiving end, so I assume the mic quality is at least good enough. Overall, I have no complaints about these earbuds! I got them to get the job done and they went above and beyond.

A new Legend is Born
These are the GATE v3s, half the price of the v2, which was already almost half the price of the v1. They've hit that price to performance mark not seen since the legendary ZSN-HiFis of 2010, with all the comforts and features of 2020 IEMs. They're the ideal starter IEMs out of the box, just open and use. Start your audio journey HERE! The ear tip support is crazy out of the box. 6 pairs of soft silicone tips ranging from bunny ears to cavernous ears. You WILL find a tip that fits you in the box. It also comes with a lovely, faux leather pouch with a spring closure (which can be hard to use if you're not 2 handed.) I bought the Black "with mic" version for $2 more, and the cable is itself as good as 3rd party cables that cost as much as the entire set. Fairly durable, long enough to use at a desk without being too long for daily use with a smartphone or DAP, soft rubberized touch with a twist braid that dangles like a shoelace. Perfected cost optimization. Even better? Fully featured inline controls, Android tapdance compatibility, and an iron/aluminum Y-split. This means the entire thing can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. Not done raving yet, they seem to be BELOW 18 Ohms, meaning theu'll run out of anything with a 3.5mm jack (I do mean anything, I tried them with one of those DIY AM radio science kits, still worked). I can see myself buying a few sets to give out to friends curious about the world of enthusiast audio as a starter set. My ONLY complaint is that if your ears are sensitive to treble they might be uncomfortable for gaming, but that's not an advertised use case anyway.

Excellent.
Sound is great. Design, comfort, quality are also excellent. I had to change cable on my 7Hz Zero 2 after two months and on my Gates it lived for a year. It may be still alive if it was not a microphone cable. Gates are more comfortable too. Sound signatures of Those IEMs are very close. Zero 2 is a little bit more bassy and "detailed" but it way more depends on insertion and eartips then upon IEMs themselves.

Amazing quality for the price
Audio quality for the price is so good. My only note is that I wish the cable was a little longer in my opinion, but it depends on each person's setup, in my case I had to buy an extension cable. Cord length for me is not a deal breaker at all. The quality and ease-of-use is so good. I would recommend these headphones 100% as a starting point for IEMs

At $20 CAD (Black Friday), I was not expecting much but I was absolutely blown away by the performance and presentation of these IEMs once they arrived. Disclaimer, I am a casual gamer and by no means an audiophile so I am speaking just as a casual user who plays competitive shooters and watches a lot of YouTube and listens to music that happened to run into this product from recommendations. Starting with the unboxing experience, it felt refined and they even include extra tips of various sizes and a nice pouch to store them. The cable is fully detachable from the IEMs and feels of a very solid build quality. I have included a few pictures of the box and its contents. For the presentation alone, I was very impressed and it made me look forward to actually using the IEMs. Now for the performance, wow! I originally bought IEMs because I hated how irritating headphones got when you would use them for hours on end, but I was worried about losing the sound quality which studio headphones were generally known for. For $20, these punch much above their weight class in terms of sound. The audio is bright and sounds clear, they're great for watching YouTube or listening to music. They won't be cinematic or studio levels of quality but in general they are on-par or better than the vast majority of headsets, headphones, and earbuds for under $100. For gaming, I found these to be great and performed very well. Playing CS2 with these, I could easily tell which direction shots and footsteps were coming from, and how far away they were. I had zero issues with trying to figure out where things were coming from and if you just need something for gaming, these IEMs will serve their purpose very well. The only con would be that you are missing a microphone, but you can purchase a standalone mic or buy the microphone version of these and use a splitter. I did not get a chance to test the microphone as I am purely using these for audio Overall, it is an easy 10/10 for me when taking into account the performance to price ratio. These IEMs definitely contend with products that cost much more than it in terms of audio. The presentation was also very nice and the build of the IEMs and cable feel solid and durable. I highly recommend these if you're seeking to purchase something for audio and don't want to spend upwards of triple digits.
