TMH "Q" Foam Kerf Weather Stripping for Doors works as described. If you have a door that has replaceable Kerf weather stripping then this should work. The nylon cover is slick and the foam is resilient, sealing out drafts and making an old door feel like a new door.

it did the job, quality seems ok but was difficult to install. also used for front door which did no go as planned. its way to thin

Used as replacement and matched perfectly with the brown. Will buy again if needed.

Just moved into a "new" 38 year old house. The front door was drafty and someone had kluged a felt gasket under the original compression gasket.I was stunned when Amazon delivered the gasket set in a long box so as to not roll or fold the gasket set!The old gasket was a pain to get out - little nails every few inches, but once out this replacement slipped right into place. The groove was a little big, so I added a little caulking in a few dabs top, bottom and a few places in between.When I closed the door, zero draft! It was a bright, sunny day and the door was backlit. With the old gasket, there was lots of bright streaks. But with the new, no light leakage at all. Later, when it got down to 15 degrees, no draft at all!This gasket set was just what the doctor ordered!

I think the product does its job well. I replaced our old weather stripping (same type) with this new set and it does exactly what we expect it to do.I could see the old one letting some sunlight in, so I decided to replace it and the new one closed the gap perfectly.This time, I decided to use the white color instead of the dark brown, because I thought it would "look better" on out white door frames... but that was a mistake.This white color stripping it's a bit "translucent", so you can see a bit of a glow if the sun is hitting my porch directly. The old dark stripping would not let any sunlight in.

If I can install these anyone can. Took me about 15mins to seal up the front door of a new rental place we moved into that was missing stripping and was super drafty as a result. Very happy with the result.

Wow, this was so easy to replace on my front door. Took me under 10 minutes. Went easily into the existing kerf with a light push of my fingers. Now I can’t see any light coming through either side or the top of my door. I can’t believe I didn’t replace this years ago.It came I a long box and was only folded in half once, but that didn’t affect the install at all. You can’t even tell it was folded in half once it was put into place. Not sure why others didn’t work out so well. Glad mine did!

I got to this product after following a search for the door vendor installed in my house. Which is a wood frame with metal door. The tab that locks the seal into the frame was not thick enough for a wood frame. i.e. the barbs were not catching. However I was able to put some self adhesive foam sealant tape onto this tab. After doing that, it locked in nicely and is working well.
