This worked right out of the box. However, it used enough power that it was causing erratic behavior of my USB mouse and game controller that were on the same powered USB hub. I moved the dongle to it's own direct USB port and that resolved that problem.Next up was the speed was ok but I expected much faster speeds like I get on my desktop PC. After going into Device Manager and changing the Speed & Duplex in the advanced settings to "2.5 Gbps Full Duplex", I'm getting the reliable full speed I expected. I'm happy with this purchase.

Works well and simple to use. Just plug it in and Windows will recognize it. Seems to perform as advertised if you need a faster than 1Gbps standard port.

I hooked this up to a little Beelink mini-PC and while it is kind of plug and play, it would disconnect and need to reboot to connect again. I gave it a reserved address from my router, but it still timed out and didn't want to reconnect.The manufacturer says no need for drivers, but the drivers work for me without disconnecting on Win 11. 2.5gbe is an odd spec so to each their own, but get the drivers from Realtek, I didn't find a link on the Uni site; Realtek RT8125 or RT8126, they were the same drivers on Win 11.

This is a good USB adapter if you have a fast network. The adapter is 2.5gbps, so you'd need a network switch that does that speed, and if you're looking for faster internet connection you'd also need a router and data plan that does 2.5gbps and up. If you have none of the above this adapter is not going to do anything extra for you. I have a server on a switch that does 10gbps and I thought it was kinda lame that when I'm transferring stuff from my laptop over to the server I was limited by the 1gbps nic that's built into my laptop. This adapter made things faster and it was plug and play. Pretty happy with it since transfer speeds are good enough for me for now. The price isn't that bad when comparing it to other USB nic's but if I had just a normal 1gbps on the router or switch, I'd probably just grab something in the $10 range. Overall pretty good little adapter, no issues. 10/10 rating!

This USB-A ethernet adapter seems to be a good ethernet adapter for most purposes. The USB-A plug fits a USB-A port well and the ethernet jack fits an ethernet cord well. The adapter cable seems durable, yet flexible and allows the user to position the adapter any way that works best for the computer and ethernet cord. After testing this USB-A ethernet adapter, I found that the adapter was not able to reach the 2.5Gbps speed advertised. I was able to get the adapter to reach just over 1Gbps on a USB port that will reach 2.5Gbps on other USB ethernet adapters. Overall, this USB-A ethernet adapter seems to work well for most purposes but does not appear to reach the advertised 2.5Gbps speeds. Although the adapter does not reach the speed advertised, the adapter is a handy adapter to keep in a backpack or travel case.

J’ai pris ce produit parce que j’ai refait mon réseau en 2.5G et donc il faut bien en profiter !Installation sans pilotes sous Windows 11 Pro et merci à TCP Optimizer pour les réglages. Résultat entrent deux Pc sous Win 11 SSD : 283 MO/s ( testé sur plusieurs fichiers de 10 à 25 Go ). Le top !Je conseille vivement cette marque, eu en promo en plus, simple à mettre en place et pour en profiter.

Lieferung ist wie fast immer problemlos.Ich habe die Adapter an einem Mini-PC der als ProxMox Server mit mehreren virtuellen PCs fungiert, unter anderem eine OPNsense und einem Mailserver. Die beiden Adapter schaffen dabei locker 2.5 GHz ohne starke Erwärmung. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen.Alles in allem kann ich die nur empfehlen.
