Casablanca Handheld Remote Control, Black

Easy to set up and I didn't have to take apart the fan or anything to sync it

Works perfect. So glad I was able to buy a replacement for our fan.

I thought I'd write a review because I had some questions and I hope it'll be helpful to list everything here. I have the Costco Hunter 54" Contempo II LED ceiling fan. The remote looked identical to this, except it says Hunter instead of Casablanca. It synced perfectly well, no need for a new receiver or anything like that. All you had to do was cut power to the fun (via a light switch or circuit breaker) then press the button that's inside the battery section within 2 minutes of turning on the power again. And that is it, very easy. I suspect that as long as it's a Hunter or Casablanca Fan you should be good to use this remote even if your original looks different.

I ordered this because I list my Casablanca ceiling fan remote. I was not able to use this, since it is apparently only for fans that also have a wall mounted control system. Two of my fans have thst, but don't need remotes. My other 2 fans do not have any wall units. I was not able to get the remote to work with my 2 ceiling fans. Returning it.

The remote works great, but as packaged when it was received there were no directions on how to pair it with the fan. I was trying several different button combinations to pair it, but it was no go. Was ready to send ot back, but found directions online (not on Hunter's website) that showed the pairing button in the battery compartment. With that I was able to pair it with my Casablanca Isotope fan. Wife loves being able to control the fan in our bedroom from bed. A card with the link to the instructions would have been less frustrating.

The remote worked perfectly with my hunter fan (I lost the original remote). One correction in the instructions as someone already mentioned before: The long press did not work, instead I had to press the pair button once and it paired immediately. Also, I think it’s a bit expensive. $45 for a replacement remote is a bit steep. But saved my fan nonetheless.

Somehow I lost my orginal remote. I ordered this remote since it looked exactly like the one I lost and it stated this remote works with Hunter fans. I followed the directions the one thing I would add is that stand very close to the fan in question when linking them.

I bought this as a 2nd to the original remote for our fan. I was worried that if the original was lost, I would be unable to use the fan. I can use either remote so that is good and what I wanted. Set up wasn't complicated, but it did take a few tries to get it right. Overall, I am pleased.

Works perfectly and connection was easy and straight forward

Easy to pair to fan in a few seconds with a couple of presses of buttons.

Pairs easily with the fan. Convenient wall mount for the remote.

La telecommande ne fonctionnais pas avec mon ventilateur qui était trop vieux . J’ai retourné la télécommande et pas eu de retour . Déçu du traitement que AMAZON ne me credite pas mon achat .

I am guessing my Casablanca fan is too old for this device. The instructions didn't provide any tips on what to do when setup didn't work, and the online support site didn't help much either. Just the wrong fit for my needs, I'm afraid.
