High-Quality Entry-Level Diamond Stones with Great Value
The XARILK 6-Piece Diamond Knife Sharpening Stones Set is a well-made, entry-level set that performs exactly as expected. The stones are highly durable and retain their cutting efficiency over time. I noticed only slight contamination with lower grits on the stones under a microscope, but it hasn’t affected performance for everyday sharpening tasks after a very short break-in period. The aluminum base is solid and convenient, making sharpening more stable and consistent. I’ve been extremely impressed with all XARILK products, and this set delivers excellent value, longevity, and quality for anyone looking to sharpen knives efficiently.

5 decent stones. 1 sus
Decent set of cheap stones. The aluminum base feels a lot sturdier than the plastic found in other sets. However the 3000 grit stone feels more like a 1000 stone, so I'm wondering if it was mislabeled or the quality control is poor. So far I've only used them with a Sharpal 202h in a universal stone holder to sharpen three kitchen knives, so can't speak as to their durability.

Good stones
They arrived in good shape and they work fairly well. If you keep in mind that they are budget stones, then you won't be disappointed. I also took a worn out diamond stone and ran it over them to knock off the out of place diamonds, so there wouldn't be any deep scratches.

Great stones at a great price.
I've honed up ten knives with this set so far and they are working great. The grit is bonded really well with the aluminum base. Use a soapy water solution while honing and these glide and cut beautifully. I even beveled a 15 degree edge on my Axial Shift V3 OTF with a MagnaCut blade with no issues at all.

bad glue then a 2nd review!!!!!
These worked great. But now one is coming unglued. that was my first review. I gave them 3 stars. But then they offered me a refund. I have had these longer than the return window. This company has went way beyond "Good" customer service! I am amazed at them in a world today with so much greed.

Natural stone have different thickness compared to diamond stones...
The gen 3 sharpener and all of the diamond stones have been amazing. Went ahead and ordered the natural stones as an addition. That being said the thickness is different on natural stones vs. The diamont stones have a thickness of .268 with the natural stones thickness of .330. This means that the thickness will put the stone on a different angle compared to the previously finished edge. UPDATE. After attempting to use these stones, the plastic base allows enough flex that the 8,000 grit stone cracked in the middle. Looked as if minimal adhesive was used as well. Please correct this to a metal base as in other stones.

Balance of quality vs. price.
The star rating for most objects sold on the internet should be a balance between quality and price. You can’t expect something for nothing. These are cheap, so what can you reasonably expect from six diamond sharpening stones for $19.00? In this case, you get the stones, and they work. On the negative side, they come heavily contaminated with odd-sized grit particles that leave noticeable, large scratches on the knife edge, or in worst case scenario, the large clunkers knock off pieces of the apex. You have a choice, if the contamination bothers you, you can return them and instead buy premium quality stones that cost eight times as much, or you can keep them and try to remove the large clunkers that contaminate the even plane of the diamond surfaces. If you choose the latter, you can try each stone first on some unimportant sacrificial knife, to determine which (if any) of the stones are contaminated. If you’re lucky, most won’t be. It matters most on the fine finishing grits, like the 800, 1,500 and 2,000. Sometimes the larger than normal particles just break off and you’re okay. Sometimes they don’t. These are cheap stones and they will produce a razor sharp edge suitable for most kitchen knives, even if you do nothing. If you want a pretty edge, without scratches and missing chunks of apex, you could risk committing diamond heresy. Heresy is defined as knocking off the contaminating large particles by gently (very gently) rubbing two contaminated diamond stones together, surfaces against one another, and let diamonds against diamonds level off each other. All diamond stones manufacturers advise against this, and they tell you it will ruin the stones. My experience is that it doesn’t ruin anything, if done knowledgeably, in moderation, and while testing as you go along to determine when to stop. You only have $19 to lose, if you go too far. If you gently rub the diamond faces together, with great tactile sensitivity, you can “feel” the contamination break off, and the surfaces that once felt catchy now seem to slip. If you listen carefully in a quiet environment, you can almost hear it. In any case afterwards, the stones will cut more slowly, but more smoothly, and leave fewer noticeable large scratches, and the planes of the diamond surfaces will be thereafter leveled. Heresy. I gave these stones four stars because you can perform the above operation easily (if necessary) and can make previously contaminated surfaces cut more like the premium ones. These stones are worth a try for the price. They have aluminum backs and they fit many sharpeners that accept stones from multiple manufacturers. The key is gently . . . I also purchased the 3-piece “natural” stones set, for which there are only two reviews on Amazon at present. My thoughts here are similar to the diamond plates: These are three natural stones that came all the way from China for $17.00; what do you expect? One of my three was poorly glued to its plastic support plate. I fixed that. All had sharp edges on the stones that had to be beveled off (a radius is better) with the 180 grit diamond plate from the diamond set. All the natural stones had surface imperfections that could be removed with five minutes work with the 180 grit diamond plate, the same one you’d use to re-flatten them when they eventually “dish-out” with use. Do it under running water at the kitchen sink. No problem there. Just understand if you want these to work in a premium way, you need to detail them yourself before first use. If you’ve worked with natural stones before and are sharpening knives to 5,000, 8,000 and 10,000, you probably know this already . . . Note: The Xarilk plates that come with the sharpener measure .275” thickness. The copper ones from this set measure .285” thickness, and the natural stones are variable thicknesses, varying from one stone to another, and variable within each stone itself. These variations are between .353 and .385”. When using a fixed angle sharpening rig, you need to readjust the angle when changing between the diamond and the natural stones. Frankly, I spent part of a day with the natural stones and, although they’re fun to play with, I could not detect any cutting improvement with the 5,000/8,000/10,000 grit edges over those finished with the standard 2,000 grit diamond plates and a brief strop. I bought the natural stones out of curiosity, to see what they could do, but wouldn’t buy them again.

Stones are well made and cut nicely. Good quality for a reasonable price.

Baixa qualidade, chegaram quebradas
A base entorta, as pedras estão mal coladas e quebram com facilidade ao manusear (uma veio já quebrada) e além disso a pedra #10000 tem uma superfície irregular com áreas muito ásperas, não parece #10000
