No more burnt food!
Absolutely love this oven! My favorite feature has to be the timer on the oven that turns off after a set amount of time. So if you're baking cookies for 20 minutes and forget to set a timer, don't worry, this oven has you covered by turning off after the specified time. You don't have to use this feature but I absolutely love that it has it! Can't wait to get cooking more with this range.

Awesome stove. Be aware it is freestanding NOT drop or slide in.
I love this stove. The fact that it has no bottom element make it so easy to clean.

good oven, with a few design issues
The oven is good, it works well, haven't had any issues there. The burners take a little longer to warm up than my last stovetop did but again, no problem. My biggest issue with this stove is how it's designed. The way it slides into the slot, it leaves gaps around the edges of the stove and there is a small lip on both sides of the cooktop that make it impossible to get clean. Every crumb or drip gets caught against those sides and I have to spend forever picking them out. Even when I use the cooktop cleaner on it it leaves residue in the corners. For a slide in range, it's a pain in the butt, plus it doesn't look as nice. My last stove (a Samsung) had a completely flat top (with no lips on the side) and the flat top over hung the edges of my counter about a half an inch so it hid the edges and didn't show any gaps. It looked much nicer and was much easier to clean. Too bad it broke and I was forced to buy a new stove. Long and short of it is that the stove works well, but I dont like the design, It's harder to clean and doesn't look as nice.

Great Styling and Functionality in a Range
I absolutely love this range. Burners heat up fast and so does the oven. Haven't used yet for broiling. The convection bake setting ensures that a tray of muffins or two all bake to the same degree of brown without drying them out. Convection roast is great for roasting meats, adding extra browning. The Power Boil burners are great for boiling a big pot of water quickly. They are not as easy to regulate on low or simmer, however. I use the back burners for more delicate cooking. Have only used the 5th warming element once or twice when putting out a large dinner. Useful for keeping things like mashed potatoes or sauce warm - three different settings on the keypad, there's no knob for the fifth burner. I have had one small problem with this unit: the small "Burner On" indicator light on the control panel is a tiny LED which protrudes slightly from the sytainless panel. A few months after buying the range it fell back into the panel, making it unreadable. GE repaired it free under the 1-year manufacturer's warranty. It did the same thing a few months later, despite the fact that I only wipe it with a sponge or dish cloth. This time the tech replaced the LED as well as the stainless panel (perhaps the hole the LED sits in was slightly too large. But other than that I've been extremely happy with this range. It looks great in my kitchen and works beautifully.

Disappointed
Bought this range 6 months ago. Oven went out just before Thanksgiving, one part came in and did not correct problem. More parts being ordered, but on back order. No baked goods for friends and family this year. 2 stars because the customer service people at GE have been very nice. I Don't believe a range not even a year old should have problems. The GE microwave bought at the same time gas a problem also!

I have ge slide in range (Brand New!! ...
I have ge slide in range (Brand New!!!) use oven for the first time; nothing...according the ge tech control board needs to be replaced. Still waiting; at least 2 mths without an oven. I would anticipate all these ge ranges use the basically the same control board. Again 2 days old can’t even bake for 2 months...Wow! Wassup GE?
