my mum has moderate dementia and is frequently unsure what day or time it is. This clock is easy to set up. Has a decent choice of displays - dependent on the level of understanding of the person using it. For Mum we particularly like the automatic change from dawn to morning, to afternoon , to evening, to night - when she is more tired at the end of the day or wakes up at night and the numbers can be too confusing for her - these words still have meaning and allow her to orientate herself.Mum is now used to the one in the living one and this is a second one for her bedroom.Please note will hang on wall or stand by bed, but the power lead (if hanging on the wall) is short and very black - so you may need extension or to purchase a longer lead seperately.

My mother has recently been diagnosed with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's and was making her breakfast at 7 pm etc - forgetting if it was day or night - this clock is ideal as it lets her know if it is morning, noon or nightShe is very happy with it

I got this for my mum who is in the medium stage of Dementia. She is really pleased with it and it helps her remember what day it is and whether it’s morning, afternoon or evening. Very clear display.

I bought this clock to replace my Sony dream machine , it doesn’t dim quite as well and the time display isn’t as large as I would wish but it does the job, I like to see the weather pictures.

Bought this clock for my wife who has dementia. Initially it worked well but has now reversed the read out on the screen and in order to be able to read it you need a mirror. Very helpful for someone who has dementia !!! Have been in contact with the vendors and the have agreed to replace the clock Many thanks for the prompt attention

Does not show complete month in date/month/year eg.SEPTEMBLocation is incorrect. 103 miles from my location and unable to change, therefore weather is incorrectLocation Huntingdon UK

Great product would highly recommend for anyone who has difficultly remembering the day/date/month. Good large clear display numbers/letters so easy to read and already programmed so only a matter of plugging into socket. Bought for my mother who loves it.

Great display. It sets itself. Very useful. But still unable to make SD CARD work for photos and videos.
