Razer Goliathus 2014 Extended Speed Soft Gaming Mouse Mat

It was a little bit more expensive than some of the other mats on here and online, the green color seemed a bit garish, but I have new Razer products and decided that it would just be easier to get a Razer mat (considering you can calibrate your mouse to the specific mat/pad you are using).I was pleasantly surprised though. It's nice and soft, the perfect size for my desk and it is not as bright and garish as it seemed. It's a little darker in reality and I really liked that. The stitching around the edge is nicely done also. Doesn't seem like it is going to fail any time soon.It seems altogether well made and although I read reviews from other customers saying it smelled weird, I haven't noticed anything at all. The bottom is neon green rubber, which of course smells like rubber, but I haven't noticed it unless I put my nose right up to it. Even then, it just smelled like any other rubber thing I've come across. Nothing crazy.I have a Deathadder Chroma (one of Razer's optical mice) and it tracks so much nicer on this mat than it did on my hard pad. I had an old hard plastic dual sided Alienware pad that I used with my Roccat Kova+ optical mouse and it was fine, but the Deathadder Chroma just didn't seem to like either side.This mat is great so far! Just make sure you pay attention to the measurements and how much space on your desk you want to be covered in the mat. For me this is perfect!

I bought this for my fiancé's birthday after he had been in the market for a new mousepad for the better part of a year.I did some research and this is one of the most highly recommended gaming mousepads out there. I can see why.It looks great (especially if you like Razer's signature black/green color combo) and feels great. The mouse glides right over it. I don't know if it matters but my boyfriend uses the Razer DeathAdder and they work like a charm together. It's very thin but great quality.The size is great too. I was a little spooked because I'd never seen a mousepad this large before but it fits across the desk, with enough room for the keyboard (also a Razer). Now I get why you'd want a pad this large. It allows for really fluid movement with the mouse.He's been using it for almost two months now and it looks brand new. He liked it so much, that we ended up buying the small version as a travel mousepad for him.

I already own a standard mouse pad of this type, but recently got a glass top desk, and just received my extended mat.Be aware this extended mat is meant to hold your keyboard and provide more than enough extra length to use a mouse on it...its basically a mouse pad and keyboard pad.Highly recommend this brand for its durability, the top wont peel off like cheap mouse pads, it has a quality rubber backing, its thin but provides decent padding.The extended provides a nice hand rest surface while I type of a glass top desk.One star removed for no option to order the mouse pads without the over the top "hey guys im a gamer look at me this is cool" artwork. Don't get me wrong the artwork looks decent but I prefer to put my keyboard over the razer logo, and the rest looks like green droplets which is ok. Id have preferred a no logo or some design options (like just black maybe?)The underside rubber is neon mint green. Not sure if anyone would care about that.The standard mousepad of this exact type has lasted me over 5 years, I wash it, it survives good as new...so these things last....

This mousepad is decent. I've had it for about a month or 2 now and I don't really see any difference between it and a regular mousepad. It lives up to its "EXTENDED" name but it's a bit to big. I don't see why anyone could need that size of a mouse pad. I have the big one because I wanted my keyboard on it too, not just my mouse. It's so big that it extends off of my desk. Sure I recommend this mouse pad to any gamer that needs a good surface for gaming or long sessions of time spent on the stock market or web browsing. From what I've experienced, it's just like any other mouse pad just... Bigger. A lot bigger.

It's everything I was hoping it would be. I read on a review where it spoke of a funny smell. I'll agree with that. The rubber does have a slight odd aroma. That being said it's not THAT bad. Just a new smell. As for making my gaming experience better? Meh, I wasn't the best at gaming to begin with but I DO like the fact that when I'm deep into a game I don't have that moment where my mouse slides off the mouse pad. This thing is a good three feet wide. I bet if someone were to break into my house while i was home, I could roll this up and go to town on them. Just say'n, It's pretty sturdy and large enough to use as an en prompt tu weapon of the need requires.

(EXTENDED VERSION)In my honest opinion, I don't think anyone really needs the extended version You'll probably never use half of it, but i still love it. The mouse pad alone is great and really smooth. I used my desk as my mouse pad for years, but when i switched to the Goliathus, I felt that my cursor is a lot more "smoother" in a sense. It offers very little noticeable friction (hence the name SPEED). So the mouse pad is great, but why get the extended version? In complete honesty, I don't know. In economic terms, you can cut it for 3 mouse pads and save money that way. It does however look really cool to have half your desk covered by a mouse pad. The only logical reason for me is so that my keyboard doesn't slide. It also provides slight comfortable to both my wrists. With my mouse and my full length keyboard (nighthawk x8), I still manage an extra 5 inches in width.

La parte trasera de caucho hace que se pegue a la mesa y es muy difícil moverla por accidente. Se lava fácilmente.En cuanto al tamaño, es lo suficientemente larga como para tener encima el teclado, el ratón y otro dispositivo como el Orbweaver o cualquier teclado de una mano.Si tenéis un ratón de Razer podéis calibrarlo desde Synapse y ponerle el perfil de esta alfombrilla para que se adapte mejor, aunque yo no he notado mucha diferencia.

This will be my third Razer Goliathus Mouse mat so that in itself should be testament to the quality of the item!I first purchased this mouse mat a year a go on a whim and I was so amazed by the feel and quality of the item I have since got one for work and control variant for different types of games and working on graphics applications. With the mat being so large you can rest a full size keyboard and still have a huge amount of room for your mouse to use this means that your keyboard wont flex as easy and is on a softer surface so if you type hard it will no make unwanted noise or damage the desk.Cleaning and build quality!The build quality is amazing and after using mine everyday for a year there is still no fraying or damage around the edges like I have seen with other "gaming" mouse mats. If like me you drink near your computer and spill your drink you will be happy to know this mouse mat is fine with being cleaned in a variety of different methods. For the best results for the mat put the Goliathus in the bath with luke warm water so it just submerges the mat. Now add some washing up liquid without ammonia in it (important or this will damage the mat) and just massage the water into the mat so that you get all the spills and other nasties out. Once you have done this you will need to give the mat time to dry this can take a couple of hours due to the material and size of the Golaithus but it is worth it for the results after!Control VS Speed!If you are wondering if you you should by the Speed or Control variant I believe the Control is the better option MMO, MOBA and RTS style games and also for generally browsing your PC as the control variant has a surface that will slow the mouse down and stop you making the small mis-clicks that can become a problem in games. Where as the speed allows you to quickly and nimbly get your mouse where you need this is great for fast pace games and genres.

Réellement.Une glisse parfaite sur ma Steelseries Sensei et ma Razer Deathadder !De la place pour placer un grand clavier (Corsair Vengeance K95), et environ 35cm de large disponible pour la souris.Confortable, et les bords fortifiés sont un vrai plus !Conclusion: un tapis parfait pour ceux qui veulent placer leur clavier par-dessus :D

bien plus imposant que je ne me l'imaginais, mais je suis très satisfait !Je regrette l'ancien motif des tapis goliathus mais celui-là est vraiment sympa aussi
