Fisher-Price Ocean wonders deep blue sea Crib Soother. The soother is shaped like a clam shell and has a white, pearlized casing. Mom can choose from 3 different types of music that play for up to 18 minutes: lullabies, classical and ocean sounds. In the soother, a crab plays peek-a-boo; a whale plays hide-and-seek; and a fish swims on a wave. The two waves are molded with glitter and have a sparkly mylar label behind them. When the light behind the wave goes up and down, it creates a sparkly rainbow light effect in the waves. There are two additional LED's that add light and dimension to the product. Requires 4 "C batteries, included.

Sounds didn't work
I ordered this for my 11 month old for Christmas. It was a month from the time I ordered it until we actually opened it and tried to get it to work. The lights worked and the fishes move but the sound(s) don't work at all. I tried to contact the seller but its been over a week and still have not gotten a reply if they are willing to exchange. I'm sure my daughter would love it if it actually worked. I may try to buy from another retailer.

Great item that captures a baby's attention
This is such a cute item for the baby's crib. It lights ups, plays music and the fish swim around, all capturing baby's attention. Love it!

Sensational baby gift
It's a great gift - so sorry that Fisher Price has ceased making it. By the time the music goes off the child is usually sleeping.

Life Saver!
I purchased this item when my son was only a month or two old. He is now 16 months old and still loves it. Goes to sleep with it every night! I only wish it had a remote and it would be perfect!!!

A great soother for a fussy baby!
We've had this in our son's crib (now 13.5 months old) since he came home from the hospital and love it! We especially enjoy the classical music setting. There is something about the ocean sounds this toy makes that will definitely put you into a bit of a trance. My baby now will turn the sounds on and off on his own.I only wish the batteries worked longer. When they start to run low the music starts to sound like a creepy carnival ride from a haunted fun house. My only other real complaint is how difficult it is to attach to the crib, and what a pain it is to change the batteries. It would be nice if the battery pack was accessible WHILE still attached to the crib. We go through the batteries pretty fast, and it's such a pain to take on and off. I'd love to see this improved.A remote control to turn it on and off would also be nice.

The best soother!!
I got is as a gift before my son was born. We had it in his crib since day 1 and he absolutely loves it :-)He is 16 months now and he know how to turn it on and off. He will turn it on sometimes during the night when he wakes up and he goes right back to sleep. He also plays with it in the mornings, when we are too lazy to go and pick him up at 6am on weekends..Also, we use rechargable batteries - it uses them pretty quick but it's not that hard to replace themOverall, it's a great soother. My son loves itEven if I play lullabies for him when he goes to bed he will play the ocean melody to sooth himI did recommend it to friends

I sorta felt misled
My baby just wasn't sleeping like I hoped so a friend recommended this to me. The package said 18 minutes of music and I thought, "that's pretty good, it should be enough time to get my baby asleep." However, each setting (3) only plays for approx 6 minutes for a totally of 18 minutes. Well, my baby usually takes longer than 6 minutes to fall asleep and starts crying when it shuts off. I wish it would play longer. Plus it eats up batteries pretty fast. ALSO, the after about 4-5 times using it the whale started making a grinding noise that is quite annoying. Maybe I just got a defected one, but I wasn't impressed.
