This blanket makes me feel amazing. Not only does it help me enjoy a nice cool down at night, but the material is so soft and amazing. I definitely recommend this for anyone that is a hot environment and wants a good nights sleep

I'm not one to write reviews but this cooling blanket is REALLY TRULY COOL !!!I typically have the A/C plus a fan going.I can't stand to be over heated, especially while sleeping. However, like most people, I want some kind of cover, but even a sheet can be too much warmth. Same thing while in the recliner watching tv.Then - I stumbled across this blanket while looking for something else. Desperate for heat relief, I took a chance. I just got it a couple of days ago and folks.... IT'S LIFE CHANGING!!!! So much so that I had to briefly take it off of me while watching tv - because it was too cold !!! Yes, you heard me right - and I'm NOT exaggerating!!I still run a fan for air circulation which enhances the cooling affect.To pick up the blanket it seems heavy, but once you drape it over you it's super light weight.While watching tv (in my example), all you need do to "boost the cool" is to gently fluff the blanket with 2 fingers and you're back to cold. It's amazing!I can not comment about using it in a bed as I have to sleep in a recliner for health reasons. But I CAN say that it's keeping me very chilled. I just wish I discovered this at the beginning of this record hot summer.

3 stars for solving a problem of mine, one star for being affordable, dock a point for aesthetics.I’m a super hot sleeper. So much so that my partner wakes up drenched some nights. This blanket helps regulate my temperature. When you sleep with the cottony side down, it prevents you from feeling cold but the cooling material on top somehow defuses the heat from building up. When I do find myself overheating I can flip the blanket so the cooling side is touching me which is nice for a while but it’s slippery so it slides off. I guess at that point I could use the air anyways. 5/5 for the cooling effect.That being said, the aesthetic is not there. The trim is weak and I can see strands fraying from the seam. I ordered “black” but it’s legit heather grey and is reminiscent of high school gym shorts. It’s thin so I fold it up underneath my pillow when making the bed cause it’s weird looking. I considered getting the black w/space glow in the dark but I was too nervous that the texture would be uncomfortable.

I really love this light-weight blanket was a real sleep-saver for me. My husband can sleep with our fluffy winter-weight blanket even during the summer, but I struggle with with sleep with even the sheet over me in the heat, even with our air conditioning on. I realized that our bed was the actual problem. While we have a wonderfully firm mattress on the bed, about a year ago, my husband had complained that he couldn't seem to get comfortable on our bed. He insisted on putting memory foam topper on the bed and I didn't see any problem, so that's what we did. Big mistake. Between the memory foam making my body warmer , my fluffy blanket trapping my natural body heat, and my memory foam pillow, I found myself waking during the night, soaking wet and the bed covers soaked, too, everywhere my body touched them. I'm way past the age for hot flashes, so I had to figure out how to sleep "cooler. I changed to an all cotton, light-weight night gown, put a "pad" of several layers of pure cotton between myself, and the mattress, changed to pure cotton sheets, and bought a new pillow with a layer of gel infused foam on the surface and covered with a bamboo fabric. While all of this helped, I missed the gentle weight of my fluffly blanket. That was when I found this wonderful Luxear cooling blanket. I was skeptical, but was the best thing for myself. The blanket added the gentle weight, while allowing my body heat to escape and not form the sweat I had experienced before. At the same time, the blanket kept me from being chilled with from our air conditioning. I don't know how it works, but it does, and I am finally sleeping comfortably through the night and waking with a dry body and dry hair. I love this blanket, and I heartily recommend it to anyone who suffers from heat build up in their bed during the night. This blanket breathes, and I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Oh, and I've found that it washes fine in my washer set on a a cold water, extra-gentle cycle and dries either by hanging (which I do) or by tumbling in the dryer - with dryer balls - on the "no heat" air cycle of the dryer. Dryer heat would likely be a disaster for it.
