It's impossible! Shredzilla absorbed massive amounts of paper and yet it survived!
Make no mistake, this is not a shredder. This is Shredzilla. It's probably twice as big as your old weeny home shredder that overheated and made you wait 30 minutes before it cooled down enough to shred again. It's powerful. It shreds paper, glossy magazines, thinner cardboard. It almost never jams and it has a back out button if it does. This may be overkill in a home where all you want to do is shred a couple of embarrassing receipts every now and then. On the other hand, if you have a home office, you may save precious office time by using this hard duty shredder, because it doesn't heat up, stall, and make you wait. And needless to say, it's da bomb in an office environment where everyone is shredding embarrassing receipts.The unit comes with a small paper catcher and it also has a frame to hang a large trashbag. You can shred a week's worth of charity contribution checks to the Bunny Ranch, or months of Alternate Reality bookkeeping files. Of course, it will also shred your discarded, confidential legal, financial and medical documents. That's why you purchased it! Right? And it would be a good choice if you did. Cons? Well, it's heavy. It's larger than your old weeny shredder. Oh well. It's pricier. You get what you pay for. It comes in any color you want as long as it's white..Bottom line: this is a great unit. Highly recommended.

Good machine
Got it for our office and it shreds like a maniac. Easy to change bags and not as noisy as the one we had before. We have had over 2 large cartons of shredding to do in one day and it handled it well without overheating. We kept feeding it and it gobbled it up. No overheating. Good machine.
