After reading reviews about phenylethylamine both on Amazon and other sites that Examine such things, I decided to try it. I am not disappointed. I started out with the recommended dose with no noticeable effects. The next day I upped it to 1.5 grams and within the next 15 minutes noticed surprising results. Initially, I didn't like it at all, however, I decided to stick with it for a few days. I'm glad I did. Having built a slight tolerance to it I no longer experience the initial 'rush' -which I didn't care for. What I do experience though is an elevated mood, a higher tolerance for pain, and I somehow feel much sharper with more physical and mental stamina. Actually put some of the joy back into studying. After feeling dull for so long, I'm having AH-HA moments again. This supplement has also definitely helped both my running and cycling. A game changer. NO joke. To the point where I feel like I'm cheating. At 58 years old that is results well worth the relatively cheap cost. I am very happy and will continue to use this indefinitely.It may not be for everyone, but it is worth a shot. Good luck to you!

This is the third batch of PEA I have tried over about a year period, and the first from BulkSupplements, so I have a little experience with this supplement. First of all I will say that I have ordered several other supplements from BulkSupplements and my experience with them has always been great. This order was no exception. The product arrived in perfect shape in its foil package and seemed fresh and pure. The product I received was of the sugar crystal type appearance. Moisture tends to cause it to clump a bit and it is a bit harder to get it to dissolve in water than the crystalline flake type of PEA I received in my last order from another company. Both types smelled/tasted the same and seemed to be equally potent. (OMG - the taste is bitter as heck) The only real difference being that the flake type PEA did not clump and dissolved pretty much without stirring. I've tried encapsulating it to avoid the horrible taste but it seems to lessen the potency in my experience. I think overall I prefer the crystalline flake type PEA over the sugar crystal looking PEA, but there's not much difference between them except ease of mixing in water.

Gave me hands down the worst migraine of my life. My heart raced. My head pounded. I felt AWFUL. I know everyone reacts differently to supplements, but I do not recommend this for anyone! The good news is that is does pass through your system quickly so the negative side effects were short lived. But they were terrible while they were happening. I thought I was on the verge of a stroke.

For me, and this is only for me, I highly recommend starting with a 100mg dose and working your way up, but here was my experience:100mg: nothing350mg: nothing1.05g: nothing2g: nothing2g with modafanil: Holy crap, I felt like I was on speed for about 30 minutes. The effect doesn't last all that long, and if you take this much with another substance (such as modafanil), I feel like you crash HARD. I usually don't get much out of modafanil btw. It actually just makes me anxious (not smarter or more focused). But, I had a poor nights sleep the night before, and was compensating (not something I advise on doing btw)Ultimately, that experience felt more like a drug trip, and not something productive for work, or helpful in any way. I became super anxious, couldn't concentrate, and very fuzzy. I have a very healthy diet, sleep regime, and so forth, so brain fog hadn't been something I experienced in some time. But taking this much with another substance certainly made me foggy, and also a bit high (not a good high, I seriously do not recommend).2.5g on its own: A couple weeks passed and I decided to try again, with a higher dose, but without anything else in my system. It felt like a noticeable energy increase, with some additional clarity (what I was hoping for in the first place).That said, 2.5g is awfully high, potentially even dangerous, for this substance, and I'd do your research and talk to your doctor first. I have no idea why I have such a high tolerance to this stuff, I do with modafanil as well, so must be a brain chemistry thing.In any event, many people have success with only 350mg. But it's case by case. Talk to your doctor, and figure out what works for you. Best of luck!PS: The stuff tastes awful. I recommend downing with just a bit of water, and a chaser.

A little bit of this stuff goes a long way...for a short time. I highly suggest getting a scale for this. 1/4 tsp works for me within about 15-20 mins. I feel this pure energy, yet not shaky, with a calming sense of well-being and focus to add to it. It wears off quick though. I take it a few times a day. I made the mistake of taking more to see if it would last longer and only ended up with heart palpitations and a ton of pressure in the back of my head. Not good. Which is why I highly suggest a scale. This is one of those supplements that I feel could become addicting, so approach with caution if you have tendencies to try too much of a good thing, because in this case, more is not better. Overall, I love this stuff. Very impressed.

The ziplock doesn't really shut close., even after cleaning the powder out of the zip grooves. Also some of the powder lodges in at the bottom of the bag. That area is stiffer then the top of the bag making harder to get the lodged powder out of it. I think maybe 5% of the product is wasted there. I hope the seller makes capsules of the product. I wouldn't mind paying an extra fee for it. I would gladly pay the price instead of capping it myself. It's a hassle.As far as the product concerns. The powder itself is very effective. Good quality. I'll keep buying it despite my grievance with the packaging
