Great product dependability
Plan to use this on an upcoming cruise in Italy this summer to sit on while waiting in long lines to give my aching back some relief.

Low quality construction
I have a number of telescopic stools, and this is definitely the lowest quality stool I have ever used. The plastic is flimsy, and I seriously doubt that it can hold the 550 pounds that it claims. I can bend the plastic on the seat part with one hand, and that is not a good thing. There are lots of molding tags, which just shows that it was made quickly and cheaply. It does not open and close smoothly, and it takes a couple tries to get it to compress or open up fully and actually hook everywhere. The colors are beautiful, but I am seriously nervous sitting on it because of how cheaply made it is.There are so many other better options on Amazon at this price point, or just for a few more dollars. I do not recommend this stool.

Great product
Well I haven’t got the chance to test the durability of this because it’s winter and I don’t really plan on going anywhere anytime soon but from what I can tell on unboxing this is a solid product and is rather light weight we will see though how it holds up overtime and I will report back if there are any noticeable things that arise

Ideal For Short-Term Seating Needs
There are many occasions when I need a small sitting stool, like when I clean out the refrigerator, garden, or take wildlife photos. I have some compact foldable chairs for outdoor activities, but they’re not easy to open up or carry for long distances. This telescoping stool is much handier. It opens up like an accordion, and is so easy to do. Closing is just as easy, and the stool comes with its own storage bag, or can be carried by its own handle or shoulder strap. This stool comes with a soft cushion as well. I use it for a variety of household/outdoor tasks. The recommended weight limit is 550 lbs., though I doubt anyone with a big bottom will appreciate the stool’s somewhat small seat. I really like the way this folds down to nothing (and it’s very lightweight), but quickly telescopes into a practical stool for short-term seating.

Good product but feels cheap
So I like the concept and it is useful. But the feel of the material is not good. It feels like cheap plastic. There is good plastic and cheap plastic this feels cheap. I guess cheap means it feels too thin. Now it has no problem supporting my 185 lb frame but it still feels cheap. The padding for the seat is thin and cheap. Again, it really does the job. Folds into nothing so it’s easy to throw in your car and carry around. But that feel…

Sturdy enough for sitting, though no more
Weighing in at half the Max weight, I can sit on this thing without any concerns. It feels sturdy enough to support me, is fun to spin on, and packs easy. The provided cushion is meh, and wouldn't do if you were sitting on this thing for more than 30 minutes. It all weighs a little more than I expected, but I like that because it means the plastic isn't as flimsy as I was expecting. I wouldn't stand on it for more than a short moment due to how the locking mechanism works, but it would suffice for grabbing a cup from a tall shelf. For those of lesser weights than I, no caution is necessary as long as it is stable.Overall, for the price, there are several niche cases where I expect this will be very handy and I am glad I got it. For the price, I would probably buy it again if I ever needed to.
