So this is as pictured. Its almost too “ambery” and orange. Slightly jarring so it lasted a day for me before I took the bulb out of my lamp. Not really a complaint, just a personal preference. It does makes a warm atmosphere though.

My daughter loves the ambiance this light bulb gives to her room! Great value, it is not as bright as a typical light bulb but definitely lights up a room!

Amber like a pumpkin
If you would describe a pumpkin as being amber in color, these are the bulbs for you. They are super orange. Too orange. I found some other amber bulbs that were much better. Neporal was the brand name. They are much more what I was after as far as an amber bulb goes.
