Fits knife well

As with the proverbial cat, there's more than one way to skin a deer. Some might consider this a bit of a gimmick and I suppose that's fair enough. It certainly not required to get the job done, but I personally make sure to always have one on hand. On deer and pronghorn, it cuts what it needs to with minimal effort. The hook blade makes opening the cavity without puncturing the internal organs a cinch and the brass-knuckles type handle provides a good grip even while working with hands out of sight. It's probably fair to mention that I replace the blade for each animal to ensure that's it's sharp enough to get the job done. Also, I have found it not quite up to the task of cleaning a large, tough elk.

The Wyoming blade is great. The problem I have is that the description Wyoming Tools 5 Replacement Stainless Blade leads you to believe that you are ordering 5 replacement blades when you only receive 1. No where on the Wyoming website does it list the knife as a 5. You can order direct from Wyoming the same blade for under $5.00 each. My suggestion would be to order direct from Wyoming since you can get 2 for the same price.

I have the silver discontinued version of the knife- yet blade still fits perfect and just like the original glad to still be able to order them maybe this blade will last 10 years like the last one-

Fits my knife. These are hard to find anymore and it shows in the high price. These were made to be throw away blades, not now.

This is the best deal for a skinning knife. The replacement blades are very easy to change and give you a new razor sharp edge. If you have another knife, this is a good one to carry also as it is flat and has a unique curve edge that is just what you need sometimes.

Had to replace original blade for skinning knife easy fix now waiting for next buck to use it

Came quicker than they said it would fit perfectly into my handle.
