First pair was defective, but second pair is just what I expected.Good customer service too!
Nov. 2024 review update -- The new shoes have held up well for over 6 months now with no abnormal signs of wear. I expect that the first pair was just defective. I appreciate that this seller stood by their product enough to offer to send me a replacement pair after seeing my review, because I really like these shoes and the price is right. Updating to 5 stars, previous reviews below.April 2024 Update: The seller saw my review about this issue, and reached out to me to say that even though the return window was closed, they stand by the quality of their shoes and offered to either refund the shoes or send me new ones. I accepted the offer to get a new pair because they really are comfortable, so I'm hoping that the durability issue was just an unlucky defect in the pair I got. I'll update in another 3-4 months once I've been using the replacement pair for a while to see if they do hold up after all. Moving to 3 starts in the mean time since I'm impressed with their responsiveness and commitment to finding me a solution. Finger's crossed!Feb 2024 original review (1 star): The shoes are comfortable enough, and the fit size was true to order. They have good support and look nice. But they are not durable. It's only been three months (and I work an office job, so it's not like they've been heavily used) and the adhesive they used to attach the front of the toe to the fabric is already coming apart. It's outside of the return window, so I'll re-stitch it myself and hope the rest of the shoe holds together better than this part, but I have a feeling I'll be in the market for new shoes much sooner than anticipated.

THIS IS IT
The media could not be loaded. When I tell you I couldn’t wait to get off work to make this review, I mean it. I work at the AMZ warehouse and we are required to wear steel toe or composite toe shoes. We do get a 100 credit each year to buy shoes from a different shoe company that starts with a Z but the options are preselected. The shoes I previously had were Reebok composite and when I tell you it made my feet hurt IT MADE MY FEET HURT!!!. On my feet 10 hrs a day and it was just achinggg me. Was limping to the car afterwards. The top, sides, bottom just the whole shoe even though I went up a half size and got wide width it still was very uncomfortable. Now with THESE shoes from Amazon I paid for out of pocket, the best shoes ever for composite cause I’ve had a few from the place that starts with a Z but they all were uncomfortable. It felt like clouds on my feet, it felt like I was wearing one of those sneakers that fit and look like a socks but were shoes. Feet were not burning me after 7 hours, wasn’t limping to the car, the area where the composite is at it wasn’t rubbing against my knuckles to where it felt like it was peeling the skin off. My previous shoe I had to wear moleskin bandage around my toes to help with the friction even tho I had on socks. But one of the best things that I love about this was that I didn’t have to break it in. I got it delivered sunday afternoon just in time before I went back to work Wednesday but decided to pick a shift Monday morning last minute and was worried I just made the biggest mistake but I figured since it was only 7hrs that It wouldn’t be too bad. No pain whatsoever, didn’t feel tight or anything. Literally just went on like a pair of socks and got the job done at work. Already added another pair to the cart. I did notice the design doesn’t quite look the same as what was advertised but it’s no big deal. It still gets the job done. Price is good, it’s stretchy, looks like sneakers and the insoles are removable

Comfy and Functional
These shoes are very nice. Comfortable, Durable, and are lasting longer than expected. I've been trying different Steel toe shoes for work and so far these are pretty solid. They are much lighter than the previous ones I tried and have lasted longer. They look like regular sneakers with solid slip resistant bottoms (very important in the food service industry), and the steel toe has saved my feet from kegs and pallets on several occasions. I like that they don't have a conventional tongue on them as it doesn't slide down or bunch up.Only dropping a star because the laces that came with the shoes deteriorated and split open within the first 2 weeks and had to be replaced.

Amazingly strong and flexible!
The toe area is extremely hard. Hit with a hammer and nothing. But if you move an inch or two above, you’ll feel it. You can actually bend the toe area when you try to stand on your toes. But the protection definitely covers the most important area.Best shoe purchase I have made so far! No more toe injuries at work haha

Finally, a winner!
Lightweight, no round bulk toe, no weird insert feeling on my arches, doesn't crease ( they are flexible ) or make noise. Quality is nice and appealing still. Also... true to size. I wear 8 and they are fine in my size, only recommend half sizing up. #iapprove

Durable and light!!
Honestly, buying these shoes I thought I was in for cheap stuff. Not at all! The most comfortable steel toes I’ve got that don’t feel like I’m walking around with clogs on. These shoes have saved my toes from pallets, hammers, ect, and even does good for kickin things back into place. Used for farm AND retail work. Fit nice and are overall better than their price seems.

***updated*** weird fitting
****update****so i have had these shoes for nearly exactly 5 months now (purchased APR 22) most of the shoe tread is worn, and there arenow big holes through the heal area making them uncofmrtable when worn. So for longevity these don't hold up to daily shop usage. From oroiginally fitting weird on one foot, to now needing replaced in a short time. Overall theyre not bad, just know they are similiar to a running shoe with steel tip. Comfortable, but, not long lasting as a strong pair of leather work boots.----------------i have had these for about a month or so now and the left one is made different than the right one and really puts my left foot's toes in a bind and hurt after about 5 hours of wear.I thought it was just me, but, its a heck of a relief when i take the shoes off.Not sure if i got a bad pair, but, other than that these might be ok
