XGIMI CC Aurora

I have been looking to replace my old Hitachi projector for a while and after lots of searches found this one. This project meets all my minimum requirement which is portable, HDMI, build in android, viewable in decent daylight. The projector has build-in android so I can install pretty much all apps along with browser and youtube. The picture quality is really amazing and the best feature I didn't expect but really loved it is the autofocus. The projector doesn't require focus adjustment each time you move. This becomes so handy specially when it's portable and you are caring it from one room to another. The air mouse feature makes it really easy to navigate from a different menu. Finally, the most important aspect of the projector is picture quality. I was able to view in bright day with pretty clear picture quality. will update here after a couple of days of use again.

Updated Review: We got this projector few days ago, the first day when we set up it worked fine and the quality of the video was better than our 3 years old LG Projector so we liked that about it but the second day it would not even turn on. Looks like a cheap quality product, our LG one is working for the last 3 years, so I would take lower quality 3 long years working product comparted to a cheap product working for only one day. So I won't recommend this product to anyone. Thanks for reading.

Design is awesome. This is best looking projector i ever saw. Feels great, start up time is very low.2 WEEK update:Sent it back. Projector constantly trying to find the focus. Literally impossible to watch the movie.

The product is really amazing, nice and rich design, increadible JBL sound, the quality of projection is awesome. Some technical problems I found so far that is damaging a little my experience with the product:1) Netflix don't work. I installed the version found in the native AptoideTV as well some older versions, and no way to make it work. I sent a message to the XGIMI Technical Support and they sad they are trying to fix it, but no plan to show when it will be solved;2) So I've tried to put the movie in my iPhone and do an Airplay to the projector, but is not working properly, only sound, no image;3) In can't connect my iPhone by Bluetooth only to play musics(use it only as a speaker), the bluetooth don't pair wit iPhone. So in this case I use the Airplay;4) The airmouse pointer sometimes loose the connectivity, so I need to press the mouse button in the control again to see the pointer. It is a minnor issue, but It can be improved.I have not tested the projector with an Android Phone, as soon as I do I will give a new review.

The media could not be loaded.  completely blown away! i have bought a ton of budget friendly projectors in the past and this is quality! quality where it matters in a small package and quality has blown my mind! there is app that you can use to control the projector! youtube built in wifi built in so you can control it easily hdmi everything you can possibly need! quality is huge and speakers are really good!

Should have been better picture quality and brightness I had to do auto key correction so many times to reduce the blur effect of the screen, but end of the day it’s still blurry I would not recommend this to others if they want some good picture quality.

I love this projector. Very portable and good in quality.

I was in on the original Kickstarter for this, and it has been problematic ever since. The image is barely adjustable, and will not stay in focus. I have to refocus every hour or so. The battery will no longer charge, so portability is out the window. Updates are non-existent, and the company's support is no better. Stay away. Simple as that.
