I discovered quite by accident that my drain outside was blocked. I was putting some cement around the drain and removed the iron lid so as not to cement it shut! I needed some Drain Rods pronto, so ordered these with next day delivery! They are nice and flexible so will bend around corners if needed. The brass/metal fittings are strong and attach easily together. The two attachments easily unclogged my drain. £20 well spent! No idea how much Dyno-Rod would cost, but a lot more than that I suspect!

Exactly what we needed, excellent product and value for money

I had a blockage in an outside drain so bought these rods to help clear it. After a bit of trial and error the rod with the rubber seal did the trick, so really pleased with the outcome.

A socket tore off from the rivet fixing. This item is of unmerchantable quality.

Work well for light job as you still have to remove some of the rubbidh by hand and the rod to unblock the drain.

Cheap and cheerful, perfect for a small diy job. Worked well for me but can’t see plumbers buying them.
