This cd slot holder is a great idea to have my phone easily visible and accessible. In my van, I tried so many other kinds of holders, and none of them worked. Living in a city where it gets over 110 for a couple of months, an air vent mounted holder is not an option.This holder does not block my vents. It's easy to figure out. Pretty adjustable to get it angled just right.It did loosen and fall out with my phone still in it once. So maybe it loosens a little with bumps and vibrations of the vehicle? When I had a phone case with metal ring on the back for propping the phone, or slipping my finger through, my phone did not fit as well in the holder, it's thickness being almost too much for the holder. In a regular case with no frills or things on the back of my phone, it fits perfectly.

Plastic but well-put together, offering a sturdy hold on my phone. Mechanism to attach to CD player opening is quite strong. Quick release button is convenient, but I wonder how the plastic gears and spring assembly will hold up over time. Nice finish. Only complaint is that the range of motion to position my phone is a bit limited for the angle I need to view the screen.

I bought this for a long road trip I was taking. It fit right into the CD slot that I hadn't used in years. It keeps me from grabbing for my phone every time I need to see where the next turn is on GPS. Easy to put the phone in and take out.

My husband loves this..works great.No issues with adjusting be back and forth.

It does what it is supposed to. The CD player is not the right placing for it in my vehicle but it works.

I was getting sick of all the crummy phone mounts that attach to air vents, cup holders, and dash boards. All of them were loose and flimsy and never felt naturally positioned so I wanted a mount that could utilize the useless CD player slot in my car because that was the perfect position for my phone. Not only is it perfectly positioned, it's extremely solid after tightening it down. There is no play at all and no jiggling or wobbling around.

I did not get a free product so read this. There are some good aspects and some not so good. The CD mount portion is brilliant, firm, and ideal location for me. I am trying to use this mount for a GPS device. The prongs holding the device would be ideal if they were a little longer. But, the real shortcoming is the nut on the ball joint does not tighten enough to hold the device well, as reported by another reviewer. I may try to find a rubber washer to insert in the nut to see if it holds better.Edit: Seller saw this review and completely refunded my purchase. That is superlative customer service!!!
