Fitted this to my elderly fathers bed to stop him falling out of bed. Works exactly as expected and with the handle, he is able to pull himself in and out of bed much easier.

Good and sturdy to prevent falls from the bed.

On a normal bed - not a hospital one- the sturdiness will depend on the weight of the mattress, as the horizontal part goes under the mattress. It has a band that comes with it, and should be tied up from the other side of the bed for more stability. But in my case the bed is wooden normal bed. I could nt find a way to tie it up . Still it worked well, and gave good support because the mattress was a heavy foam mattress and I placed the rail a little bit away of the edge of the mattress.

This looked lovely. Not massive looking on bed. Good amount of handrail space to help person raise themself up. Good price. Pockets good idea. Rail being covered easier on hands.Drawback- not enough of tie to do a divan single bed. We managed to adapt. Would be better to have a longer tie as could be cut if too long. Would then be suitable for all beds. Better too much as too little, apart from that ideal.

Always difficult to find a unit that is good for a slatted bed, and this is no different. That is all that lets it down. I put a strip of wood on the outer edge of the slats to support them

Arrived very quickly in good condition was very good I was worried it would be sturdy enough but it was perfect to help my mum enable to hold on to to get out our bed as well as stopping her from falling off the bed when asleep
