Ant-Man (lim. 3D Steelbook) (FSK 12 Jahre) 3D Blu-Ray

Rather than repeat all the positive reviews, yes it's a 5 star movie. Just a mention that although the Product Description doesn't mention it, there are English HOH subtitles if needed.

Compared with other MCU flicks, this one is the least serious of the bunch. Maybe it has something to do with the main character (Paul Rudd who was excellently chosen for the role) who is the most laid-back superhero among those already introduced in the movies. In fact, the lighter mood is a welcome change from the usual plots and characterizations in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fight sequence between Ant-Man and Falcon managed to be entertaining, no matter how brief it is. PQ and AQ are both outstanding in this release.Truly this is an enjoyable addition to my list of MCU blu-rays.

I'm not a huge fan of super-hero movies, but this one had some good humour and action scenes, and the scenes near the end were so well done and left me in stitches that I have to recommend it. Good performances from the cast, decent pacing, and the Blu-ray quality was great as well.

An unlikely hero, an insane (what else?) villain, a genius inventor's daughter for romance, three stooges, and ants. Hmm, ants. Yes and unsurprisingly they are heroes too. After all, who could be unmoved by the death of a flying ant? Great film, and I adored it. As with the best of the Marvel films I have watched it three times already, and it is glorious fun. Give yourself a treat and watch this.

I liked it a lot, however it felt more like a sequel than the first of a trilogy. I don't understand why they had to relegate Hank to old man and kill off Janet for no good reason where they could have just as easily used them both and have them roughly of an age with the avenger team.Don't get me wrong, it was fun; the action was good, the effects were top notch and the plot wasn't by any means weak. It just didn't feel right, and dropping Hank as the protagonist where he has such an intriguing (and problematic) personality seemed like a bit of a cop out

One of the most entertaining and fun movies in the Marvel franchise. Paul Rudd is a treat playing the titular hero, and his conversion from criminal to super hero is a delight. Engaging and funny, this film never takes itself too seriously, and connects effortlessly to the Avengers universe without becoming mired in that other franchise - Ant-Man is very much its own movie. So - great characters, fun story line, some genuine laugh out loud moments in a world inhabited by some not so super superheroes that are easy to root for, Ant-Man is Entertainment at its best if you enjoy the fantastical world created by the Marvel/Disney juggernaut! Give it a go - you might be pleasantly surprised.

The Marvel film that everyone wasn't sure about until they watched it and were enchanted by the characters and a story that was thoroughly enjoyable,the 3D is one of the best in a Marvel movie

I've seen most of the Marvel films and thought this one might be a turkey (like Thor and Dr Strange) but it's actually pretty good and much better than i expected. A good mix of action and humour, good CGI and a decent story with some likeable characters. If you like your superhero films ? chances are that you'll like this one too and there are more sequels to come no doubt.
