BUYER BEWARE!!!! Everything said about this external drive is bogus. My Mac does not see it. My brother's Mac does not see it. My boyfriend's Mac does not see it. There is no brand on it at all to search for a drive that might help set it up. There is no serial number. The "manual" has about 150 words and is written in broken English. It's a complete and total waste of every single cent. I wish I could return it, but I was traveling and the 30 days went by before I tested it. Regardless, I'm still going to call Amazon and tell about the fraudulent product so hopefully nobody else falls for the product description and reviews like I did. How could they possibly be real? What gives?

External drive, just good, to make up for the computer's shortcomings. Good price, and it functions well enough most of the time. Two small irritations spoil the picture however. Firstly, the connecting cable does not lie properly in the slot provided for it where it comes out from under the body of the unit, so it is hard to get the unit to lay flat. Secondly it can be hard to get disks to clip fully on to the spindle, causing vibration when running. Not bad, but not the best I have ever owned.Fourth star added in recognition of seller's prompt willingness to offer compensation. Unnecessary but identified them as a good company to do business with

Awesome little external disc drive, works flawlessly. The cable could be a little longer but it's built in so it's not a big issue.

Works great without any setup. Just plug it in and it can read DVD's right away.

Works great! I'm using this on macOS 10.13.4 (High Sierra) connected via a powered external USB hub. Ripping audio CDs to FLAC is fast and it has no problems reading scratched CDs.

Love it. Works perfect. Now I can rip my old cds to my 2 in one tablet/laptop.

Never worked from the start, no matter what computer I hooked it up to. None of the computers could even see it.Don't waist your money, The positive reviews are all lies ! This is nothing more than an expensive Doorstop.

It could play DVDs but couldn’t play CDs. Unfortunately I had to return it.
