QUAKER VS BOB'S RED MILL and my experiences so far
OK, I had been a Quaker Oats girl for over sixty years and then I tried Bob's Red Mill and the taste and texture was so much better, I switched. But then the price of Bob's Regular Rolled Oats went up and was no longer a PRIME product, so, even though much more expensive, switched to Bob's Organic oatmeal. Unfortunately I got a stale batch, which Amazon was great about and credited me, but still needed my oats!So saw Quaker had new organic choices and decided to try. GOOD! I like it. Do I like it as much as I liked the Bob's Regular Old Fashioned Rolled Oats? No, but close. Nice taste, nice texture.SO unless something changes with this new Organic Quaker Old Fashioned or Bob's Red Mill Regular is again offered, I shall most likely stick with this one. OH AND I LIKE you get four individual bags. Helps keep it fresher and I just keep them all sealed and refrigerated and open one and dump into an airtight container. .

Better tasting than any other, non-organic or organic.
Wanted to get away from the GMO's and whatever other artificial stuff is in today's processed foods and have tried store brand organics which are ok but found this after a little searching and with the discount and prime shipping, it was cheaper than the local store brand. Still wish it was cheaper yet but I guess putting real ingredients in something instead of GMO's and artificial this and that costs more.Tried it today and am super impressed with the flavor. Has more of a maple like flavor than any other oatmeal I have tried, organic or not. Will continue to buy. Would definitely recommend.Update: Had to make one clarification that is not made clear in the description. The oats and sugar are labeled as organic, the natural flavors and salt are not but I'm not too hung up on that. Because of the way salt is obtained, it does not require an organic certification to be used in organic foods. I am guessing the maple syrup and perhaps molasses if there is any might not be "organic". while either could be of gmo origin, the maple is likely not. Depending on the source of the molasses, it could be (sugar beets are always subject to be gmo.) I am planning on contacting the company to try and discover for sure and will update once I know.

5afe is good.
Simply put its USDA ORGANIC. That is why the five stars. Like so many wheat products and oat products out there, So much of Bob's redmill saysNO GMO. Big deal. Did you know that most products that do not say ORGANIC are sprayed with the poison glyphosate ( roundup) which drys weeds and kills them and this is used to dry oats, wheat, rye, etc etc etc. for quick harvesting. so, if it does not say ORGANIC ON THE LABEL, don't let the sales pitch of NO GMO fool you. You want USDA ORGANIC as Organic cannot be a gmo (genetically modified poison with the built in insecticide) or sprayed wi5h poison.

Good tasting, chewy texture, great breakfast.
Reasonably-priced "Scotch" oats. I soak 'em overnight (1/4 cup oats, 1 1/4cup water) and heat them up in the morning-- bring them to a simmer, keep stirring for maybe ten minutes--and they're good to go. You may find, because of the high fiber content (we used to call it "roughage"), that your system may take a while to get used to them. Don't stand upwind of your loved ones for a week or two. Nudge, wink.Throw in some raisins or dried cranberries the night before, throw in some blueberries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds next morning, and you won't feel the need for sugar, even if you are a real sugarhead.

About Time!
Glad to see Quaker Oats embrace organic. I have been buying Bob’s Red Mill exclusively until the recent exponential price increase. Fortunately this coincided with the introduction of Quaker Organic. Go figure?

Different from regular version
I got this thinking it would be virtually identical to the regular, non-organic Quaker Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal. In fact, it's quite different, especially in the consistency (this one is very finely ground, and makes a mush almost like cream of wheat). I'll probably be able to finish what I bought but next time I'm going back to the regular version.

REALLY TASTY AND VERSATILE
Very healthy breakfast option, and also very good for addition into different recipes. I use them to make veg burgers with walnuts and mushrooms. Quite good! Organic is much better for us. I'm thrilled these are available online.REALLY

Yay for organic
I have used Quaker oatmeal for years every morning. The organic version is just the same (but better for you).

Poor value
The product shipped was closer to its expiration date than its manufactured date. I wouldn’t recommend it. It turns out the price paid was not really a value.

Oatmeal quantity pack.
Who doesn’t love oatmeal? Organic oatmeal is even better and this is a great sized box. It has 3 flavors in individual packages. I would definitely get this again.

Finally! A non-dusty organic oat
I have to say that I am pretty tired of Bob's Red Mill oats. They are thin, overly compressed, dusty, and clumpy. But only option at my local store for organic. Until now!

Weird taste
We aren’t having a very good experience ording things online recently. My son ate 2 boxes and then told me he’s been muscling it down because it doesn’t taste the same as when we...
