Fairly bright but extremely energy efficient.Ordered as a reviewer for my fish tank to install the next time i rearrange it and do my routine maintenance, this is a fairly bright tank light with separate controls for the Blue LEDs on one switch and the White and red on another, this as a tank light source is very energy efficient, even on fill power "Brightness" it only pulls 1.1 watt so virtually nothing, my current set of LED programmable neopixels around the tank consume over 7 watts.They do have a timer function for on & off but no other timer function. the tubing is however plastic and this will start to go cloudy over time with cleaning, would have been better to be a glass tube.Not that i don't trust the item but i have had it submerged in a bin of water for over 5 hours and can not see any water penetration within the light so does look watertight.As always with these types of lights you do wish for a longer cable, especially for those with a higher tank on a floor unit, it does only just reach in to my unit socket.For the price though this is a good tank light bar and as such is a 5 star product
