I bought this part because the charging port would get extremely hot and eventually melt the frame and the phone would begin to smoke. I bought all the tools I needed, waited patiently for this part to arrive, bought screen glue and even a heat gun according to the youtube video repair tips. Within 10 seconds of attempting the repair I shattered my screen with my plastic tool. The cost of the screen and risk of replacement failure wasn't worth the trouble so I bought a Pixel 2 XL on craigslist, I'm ashamed at my repair skills. I'm sure the part works fine.

Worked perfect, my old charger port was fried.Not sure what else to say. It worked, and has a very positive click when you plug a cable in.

Works great. Had to remove the black rubber microphone cover from the old board. Fixed my mic problem and the phone rapid charges again.

Replaced my charging port with this new unit. I'm able to rapid Charge once again and it's so satisfying.
