I bought this for my husband because I was worried about him falling over the cord. It cuts the grass well.

Delivered yesterday and tried today after charging both batteries up.My petrol lawnmower gave up recently and I wanted something lighter, after lots of searching and review reading I settled on this.All I can say is, WOW !!It's just cut all my wet lawn with ease on setting 2, no stalling, no bogging down, no loss of power on long wet grass !!I've done my whole lawn and both batteries are still showing full.Don't take any notice of negative reviews about this machine.......it is incredible 👌👌👌

Despite having 5 height adjustments the 4&5th heights can't be achieved as the rear wheels hit the lawnmower frame which prevents the lift & the wheels turning.

I have always used a corded mower but hated having to continually manuaver the wire. Decided to give this mower a go and wow what a difference it makes. It was easy to set up and really easy to use and clean after. I am very impressed with this mower. Would definitely recommend it.

Our unit was dead on arrival, sometimes this happens, but aivolt immediately responded and posted a full refund. Happy with that, so will order another.

The machine is of decent build but the following is a list of things that could be improved:The handle is a bit flimsy and needs to be foam covered along the top.The start lever needs to be pushed forward to allow the lock button to release. A stronger spring is required.The battery cover doesn’t stay open while you struggle to press the two orange buttons that release the batteries.The mower struggles over moss and ant nest mounds.The mower isn’t powerful enough to cut on height setting number one but is ok on setting number two upwards.Other than those points all is ok. Including battery life and grass collection into the collection bag.More information: Spring is on its way and out came the mower. For the years first mowing.I had previously said about setting number one being so low that the mower virtually stalls on the smallest uneven patch. So I removed the notched plate and cut a new notch between settings one and two. I’ll see how it goes. Removing the metal plate is not as straightforward as I thought it would be. To remove it you have to unscrew the whole top section of the mower casing as the plate is held in place by two screws with self locking nuts at the back.I like the fact that it works well on wettish grass and fills up the collection bag very well. Top marks for that. Battery life is also really good.I’m glad I bought it. No annoying mains cables, no noisy, trouble prone petrol engine to have to suffer with either.
