5 stars for two reasons: You get a lot of "stuff" to play with and to think over. Number 2: Never know when a gift-item may inspire future interests: Scientific and otherwise. For boys and girls. Nicely thought out: In that something--, at least one item in this "kit", is bound to inspire. The binoculars are the big hit of course. Crappy cornucopia of soon to be misplaced science and otherwise fun stuff. Perfect. But CLEAN UP after play if there's a little-one; or a crawling baby, dog, or cat around.

Got this for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. A nice surprise was that it helped my kid overcome her fear of bugs and now she can spend hours outdoors looking for ladybugs and ants. The kit includes a rather big bag to carry around, something that is really handy for going out with kids. Overall the kit is well thought through and nicely put together. The color choice is neutral and may cater to both boys and girls preferences. I loved this product and planing to get more for friends' older children as it is a great gift that will encourage kids to explore and be more aware of their surroundings.

This was a gift for a five year old who needed spy equipment. It was a hit. I have been told he and a younger cousin got into tussles over the binoculars. He would just turn over the binoculars and start exploring with the magnifying glass. The giftee was very pleased with everything in the backpack. Kids love this stuff.

Our kids love this set! It's great for exploring the backyard and comes with so much! Our 3 year old loves pretending to be a little explorer with this set. I also love that it comes with a bag to carry everything in...makes it easy to keep track of and not lose pieces.

I thought this would encourage my nieces to go outside, in their own yard and explore nature. Just a little adventure during this time of self-quarantine. I am thrilled that they love the idea of exploration and discovery as I do. ☺ The idea that you can look at bugs and stuff with the binoculars and not have to get too close is a big bonus!

So I bought this because my 5 year old wanted an essential spy kit and it wasn't available on their site. Now I was skeptical about quality but when it arrived it was good like any product you'd buy at BestBuy. we've been on adventures daily. It opens kids imagination. She sees things in the sky, the distance, allover the place. The whistle is getting annoying coz it gets blown in my ear a lot but what did I expect. Definitely one of the best toys I have bought for this age.

I bought this for my grandson for his birthday. I will now have to get something more because even though the items in the box look pretty good the bag is way too big for them and the tiny brown box it comes in makes it look like not much. Add to that, the coloring has to be downloaded and printed by you makes this less than a great birthday gift.

Our granddaughter loves her Explorer Kit; especially since it comes with its own bag where she can place all the times when she is finished playing "explorer". She loves to look up at our pine trees to look for different birds and is hoping to find a nest. Items are the perfect size for her 5 year old hands.
