Do not have it plugged in when trying to download the app messes everything up took me 2 days after that before it worked right.. but now its priceless

I put off the purchase due to some negative reviews but it sure helped me to finally did buy it for a trip where access to the cloud was questionable.My 3rd generation iPad only had 32 GB storage and I needed to have access to several training videos I had downloaded on a PC.Before I left, I downloaded the i-EasyFlash app from the App Store and then plugged in the flash drive loaded with folders of videos (MP4 formatted) copied from my PC. The iPad immediately recognized the flash storage and gave options for access once I chose the “external storage” icon on the top of the app. The options were: Folders (a file folder icon), photos (I had none in the flash drive), and videos to play (the play icon). (Actually there’s more than three options. See image.) All my training videos now play on the iPad and iPhone 6.I did not attempt to load the videos to the iPad, due to storage limitations on the iPad, but that’s just one reason why this flash drive was/ is a perfect solution for me.The one feature that I’d like to see improved is the cap for the iPad side. It tends to fall off during pants pocket storage. But I highly recommend this solution for PC to iPad and iPhone data sharing.One other thing is unclear: flash storage removal. Typically my PC allows me safe removal of a flash drive when I chose “eject.” But my iPhone and iPad do not offer that option. I’ve temporarily resorted to turning the device off before removing the drive just to protect data in transit.

After looking for a apple flash drive for hours i finally came across this one and it was worth it! The app it brings with this device is pretty good and essential in order to use it to store your files. I just wish that there would be an easier way to take out the micro usb than to just use your fingernails and knaw at the little stubble to draw it out. Also i found that my samsung tv will not accept this flashdrive because its unable to fit into the usb port. Which is strange because luckily my dell computer is able to take it so i can manage the drive.My dvd player is able to take it and android devices will vary too. So i guess the usb ports will vary. Those are the improvements i would look into if i were to make this product myself. Either way its what i wanted it for so that's why it gets my full approval!

This my third attempt to find a flash drive that works with my iPhone6s and its another fail. I downloaded the app and have the drive connected. I then am prompted to allow access to everything on my phone. when i go to settings there are no options for me to allow access to my albums or my camera...or my contacts or anything else....as you can clearly see in the pics. I went to privacy settings and tried troubleshooting things that way and no luck. when i use the app they made it shows 6 options to back up from my phone and when i try to back them up.....it says "no drive available" meaning it can't find anything on my phone....it can find my contact list...??? wtf??? the only thing i can do with this drive is shoot pics and vids directly to the flash drive....so out of the 5 things it claims it can do....it can only do one!!!!!!! MY SOFTWARE IS UP TO DATE AND YOUR COMPANY CLAIMS IT IS IHPONE6S COMPATIBLE....BULL POO TOTAL JUNK...FROM YOU KNOW WHERE!!

This flash drive is awesome. It has cover on both of the side, very well concerned. I have been needed a gadget like this for a long time, because I have over 10000 photos in my phone. It works great, and very simple to operate. Just needed to download the app that goes with the thumb drive and vuala. You can download pictures, videos and much no problem. And also you can lock your file to protect the items you download to it. I really like this product, and highly recommend to you all.

Absolutely horrible! Do not buy! The app you need to download to use the flash drive isn’t available in the App Store. Doesn’t work. Total waste of money and the window to return is small. We were on vacation when it was ordered and by time we tried to use it and fugured out it was worthless the return period had closed.DO NOT BUY

One if the easiest ways to inter-exchange media files from iPhone to computer and vice versa. iPhones has traditionally been confined to iTunes but with little accessory, it really makes it more convenient to sharing data and media with family and friends without utilization of the cloud. It’s easy to carry around and very light. This item has 32g which is sufficient for me now, but may need to increase in the future.

Good little device to hold space for music, videos, movies, or anything. Doubles as a regular flash drive! Worked perfectly .Great and relatively inexpensive way to increase storage for iPhone. App is good - no longer limited on mp4 video, good backup feature for photos and contacts.
