Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup - Original Formula - 4 Fl Oz

This works wonders during the winter cold and flu season. I take this whenever I feel the beginning stages of a sore throat and it does the trick! It has a better taste than those larger name brands but by no means would I say it’s delicious:)

Love this brand and this stuff. I always buy elderberry before the start of the school year and it makes me feel like I’m armoring myself against illnesses that will hit due to the winter and being in a class full of children. Taste is great! Ingredients are high quality.

Alright, so I bought the Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup because, well, my kids and I are switching to a new school and I’m not ready to deal with the snot-nosed germ invasion that comes with public school. I’m trying to keep the sniffles at bay, so we’re doing whatever we can to stay healthy and avoid the “back-to-school plague.” This stuff actually tastes pretty good (which is a win in my book when you have picky kids). I’ve been giving it to the girls in the morning, and bonus, they haven’t complained about it. I even take a little myself, cause let’s be real, I don’t need to be sick either while juggling this chaos. It’s like a little immunity shield in a bottle, and so far, it seems to be doing the trick. I’m crossing my fingers that we stay ahead of the germs, but hey, at least we’re stocked up on the good stuff. Worth every penny to hopefully avoid the misery of sick days (and the mountain of tissues). 10/10 would recommend to every tired mom trying to keep their crew healthy!

Surprisingly, we do, in fact, see lower blood sugar numbers when my husband takes this. The taste isn't bad, so why not, right? It's certainly not a replacement for meds, but his physician didn't see any problem with it interfering with any of the other meds.

My husband and I (age 83 and 82) have been taking this Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup for at least 7 or 8 years! We both have good health to begin with but we think the black elderberry syrup helps give us a good boost to our immunity. We each take 2 teaspoons every day. It tastes great.
