Soldering Iron Replacement bit - 1.0mm for Antex CS18,TC50,TCS,SD50 (1106 bit)

It's an absolute pleasure to use. Super fine, and the tip is easy to clean on the sponge. A new lease of life for my 30 year old CS-18. Great for fine work.

A nice replacement tip works well

I bought this to swap with the 2-3mm tip I already had on my 18w iron. I needed to do some finer pitch soldering, and this is the smallest size chisel tip I could find.Fitting it is as straightforward as pulling the other tip off and sliding this one in place.Once on it's worked perfectly. No issues at all, and it's increased the range of items I can work on.

20 year + CS18 given a new lease of life. This product replace the older spring-clip outer sleeve fixing with a revised inner spring sleeve. Vast improvement in heat transfer to the tip + neater overall profile. Tip is well engineered & finished, comes pre-tinned. Arrived well packaged, very prompt delivery. Does the job as expected with a improved fitting & heat transfer compared with the earlier design. Only down size are the Antex prices compared with other makes of soldering irons on the market. All in all, still highly recommended

Got as planning to do some fine small circuit soldering; however, wasn't as small/fine as I thought as not hot enough for the diodes/caps etc I was using, but excellent quality & superb easy to fit/change.
