It’s ok
The media could not be loaded. It works good so far it’s my first time using it. I still need to get the hang of it. It’s noisy and it sounds like it’s messed up but I’ll keep working with it. I do like the consistency of the fruit when it comes out . It’s still cold after it’s done. It does melt pretty fast but that Okay. The texture is soft which is nice. But I don’t like the skin from the blueberries but that just my preference. I let the fruit sit for 20 minutes to soften.

Great equipment
Easy to use and it makes great frozen desserts. We are using it with frozen fruits and making desserts frequently now and enjoying much healthier treats.

Healthier frozen treats, with a bit of patience
This "ice cream" maker really makes sorbet as others have said. It does work for the purpose of taking frozen fruit and turning it into a frozen dessert. I tried a mixture of banana (because it is a common ingredient in fruit-based ice cream), mango, and cherry. Flavor and texture were pretty good, the banana was a bit mushy by the time I finished my bowl. And that's the one thing that I think I might try a little differently. I might make a smoothie in our blender of the fruit with a bit of oat milk or water or yogurt, then freeze that in an ice tray that will fit into the vertical chute, that way it is a more blended flavor. Just putting the pieces of fruit down weren't enough to mix it together so I could clearly see when a piece of banana went through, then mango, then banana. If you're doing all one fruit or maybe a berry blend, it may not be as noticeable.I think it does take some patience and finesse to get the intended result, but overall yes, you can set it up and throw some frozen fruit in and get a frozen treat out of the bottom. My mango chunks were just big enough that it took some force to push them through to the bottom to be ground up.Setup was easy enough on a KitchenAid stand mixer, I found cleaning to be as easy as expected. I just made sure my water was hot and disassembled the device completely and the small amount of frozen puree I hadn't scraped into my bowl already was easily rinsed out in a few seconds and down the disposal.I think this might be more efficient if you are making either a batch or for several people. I tried it for myself, and even though it was all easy to set up and go through the process, it is a bit of a process so I think doing a bigger amount than for one person would make more sense. I'm not sure if it would stay the same consistency if you made it into a container to freeze and then scoop out a serving or if it would become too solid at that point. As it comes out, mine was a nice soft-serve consistency and I'm not sure I'd want it more solid than that.

Healthy alternative to ice cream
This fruit sorbet maker attachment fit perfectly on my KitchenAid mixer. It seems to be well-made and works great. You do need to let the frozen fruit sit out for 5 to 10 minutes to thaw some before putting it into the sorbet maker. Then use speed setting 6 the greater and out comes the creamy frozen fruit. This is a much healthier alternative to ice cream. You can purchase frozen fruit or fresh fruit and freeze it. Your choice. It's a great way to keep from wasting fresh fruit. I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of this sorbet maker attachment. It makes very tasty frozen treats.

It is a bit slower than expected, but has great results overall.
I've used this roughly half a dozen times now, with various frozen fruits: Finding that blueberries, bananas and strawberries give me the best results. The setup for it is quite easy, as is the disassembly for cleaning. It works in a similar manner as a meat grinder attachment, using a rotating shaft to move frozen fruit products to the end where they are processed out the nozzle into your serving container. So far, I've had no issues with making sorbet, however, I partially thaw my fruit the majority of the time. This is a great product for someone who prefers not to consume dairy, or would like a healthier fruit based alternative to store bought ice cream. My wife and I love ours.
