Solid quality for diy needs
The gauge block is very hefty and I was surprised by its weight. If it drops it will surely ding the fender easily. The fittings are of decent quality along with the heavy hoses. Valve knobs all are metal open close smoothly. The only thing I did not like there was no resistance when turning at all and made me think sealing at the stem would leak but all seemed ok. The hose end valves were heavy metal having resistance of a tight seal on the stems. The hoses were flexible but solid, I could not squeeze the hose to flatten at all. The plastic case holds everything while it’s not assembled but it will not accommodate a fully assembled with hoses device where you have to disassemble to store in the case. Even if you remove the foam cutouts you still can’t store it assembled, not big deal to hang it assembled but it can collect dust but don’t count on storing it assembled in the case. Tested it and all seemed to work.

Vacuum pump connection doesn't fit a vacuum pump.
UPDATE: The kit came with adapters which allowed me to connect my vacuum pump! ----- Gauges seem to work fine, but the vacuum hose doesn't thread onto the standard vacuum pump connections. I have a brand new one and a 20 year old one. Same problem. I'm stuck with a mini split install that I can't complete.

Great Guage kit, with poor can tap
Overall, really like the guage kit, keep in mind its budget price. Everything works, and all is good, but if your kit has the older clamp type of can tap, toss it, and get screw-on type for automotive 134A cans, IF you need it for automotive work. I used this kit to self install an R410A based mini split. You'll also need some other tools to do that job, depending on what you buy, such as a vacuum pump, micron meter, flare tool, etc. Also used it recharge another home AC system, after it developed a leak. You'll need similar tools, and refrigerant, which maybe you can still find on the E Bay platform. Also recharged a couple of cars with R134a, and the kit helps to make sure you dont overpressure the High and Low side lines. Would have given it 5 starts, and maybe it deserves it, but the included can tap is garbage. Looks like the new kits now have the better Can adapters, and if so, its definitely worth the money for a homeowner, DIYer. By the way, you can find lots of instructional videos on Youtube to help you figure out how to use it.

Quality gauge set that won't break the bank
This Orion Motor Tech 4-way gauge set has been a workhorse for my HVAC work. The gauges are accurate and easy to read, with clear color coding that makes quick diagnostics simple. The manifold feels solid and well-machined—no cheap plastic parts here. The hoses are good quality with secure fittings that don't leak. I've used this set on R410a, R22, and R134a systems without any issues. The four-way design gives you plenty of flexibility for charging, recovery, and vacuum operations. What impressed me most is the accuracy compared to my more expensive professional gauges—they're right on the money. The case keeps everything organized and protected, which is great for mobile work or just keeping the shop tidy. For DIYers or pros on a budget, this set delivers professional-level performance without the premium price tag. I've put it through dozens of jobs now and it's held up perfectly. No regrets on this purchase whatsoever. If you need a reliable gauge set that actually works, this is it. Highly recommend!

Can tapper useless
As a retired ASE Master tech I can give an honest appraisal of the charging manifold. It is of similar quality to the equipment I used over 40 years purchased from major tool truck. However the refrigerant can tap is less than useless as it will not stay on the can or leaks if it does. I lost 3 cans of refrigerant trying to make it work and gave up trying for fear of losing more.

Mehh. Sus reviews. This isn't it
Worked ok for pumping lines down but I question how long the seals will last. Rubber bits coming off the seals after first use... The can adapter for adding refrigerant simply does not work propely, when screwed down all the way to the refrigerant can. The only way to get the refrigerant out of the can is to let it leak out of the connection. Basically you have to start unscrewing the refrigerant can from the adapter while the pin is depressed into the refrigerant can. If you're good you can get the perfect point where the refrigerant doesn't leak into the atmosphere and still comes out but it's a VERY narrow window. Tilting the refrigerant can from this point can cause a leak. Oddly, the pin doesn't have the be extended that far for this to work, which indicates that it's not sealing the pin to the can. I also tried two cans of r134a, same result. But if you screw the can all the way down, then depress the pin, NO refrigerant escapes the can. I mean NONE! Even after fully depressing the pin into the can, fully retracting the pin, then unscrewing the can, absolutely no pressure relief at all...make no sense at all. The little stand alone blue recharge hose works infinitely better but you can't vacuum the air from it... Of course it's too late for me to return it by the time I figured it out. Mostly used for diagnosis and pumping which it works ok for, gauge needle doesn't go all the way to -30in of mercury. I know on other gauges my vacuum will suck vacuum lines to -30in in well under 5 minutes. 45min later and this gauge reads just above -30. Based on the reviews and price I thought this was it but sadly, this is not it.

Disappointed after reading reviews
I honestly have mixed feelings on this manifold set coming from a high end Testo digital manifold. I have been looking for a quality manifold that would be used as a spare set while traveling. The reviews led me to believe this was a great manifold that wouldn't break the bank. Unfortunately, I will have to continue my search after putting these through some tests. My biggest gripe is that the manifold has an identity crisis. The listing shows both auto and residential HVAC applications with regard to the manifold but I think this is a case where being something for everything results in being mediocre at best. In my particular case, I needed to add refrigerant to a heat pump using the low side (blue) pressure port. This manifold has the black labeled vacuum valve tied to the low side pressure port so you have to use that valve for charging. This also means you don't get to use the sight glass. The yellow refrigerant valve is tied to the high side (red) port and you cannot isolate the refrigerant and vacuum ports so you literally have to use the vacuum port for charging with the aforementioned lack of sight glass. The other observation was significant restriction in the manifold. During the charging process, I noted the manifold developing significant frost on the entire left side covering the low pressure and vacuum valves and knobs. The valves were fully opened and I was using a special device that mounts to the refrigerant tank to safely charge via liquid without slugging the compressor. My other gauge set does not experience this issue so I can only assume that the valve ports are smaller than normal and/or this manifold isn't a good match for my use-case of a TXV residential heat pump being charged using the subcooling method. Lastly, the hoses looked very similar to a set of yellow jacket high pressure R410A hoses that I have. The pressure ratings were high visible on the hoses and I liked the little wing nuts that could be used to tighten the hoses. That being said, I was disappointed that these were not low loss fittings. I really struggled with getting the nuts off of the high pressure side resulting in more refrigerant escaping than normal. Not good. The charging hose also struggled with refrigerant coming out of the cannister and presumably became brittle enough that the neck allowed refrigerant to occasionally seep out if the right angle was not maintained. Also not good. I will say that machining and heavy duty metal used in constructing it is great and provided a heft that felt like a really good manifold. The gauges have anti-vibration technology that worked and kept what appeared to be consistent measurements during the charging process. I am presuming they were also accurate but as we know there is a big difference between precision and accuracy in the scientific method. I also liked the case a lot. It is better than my primary manifold which is just a big empty plastic box that results in everything rattling around. Overall, I had a hard time with this review in that I had to evaluate my expectations for manifold performance vs budget vs advertised features vs the significant number of positive reviews that led me to my purchase. Unfortunately with the real-world issues that I experienced while using the manifold, I'm not able to recommend it as highly as others. I think it is a solid 2.5 rounding up to 3 stars with too many compromises for me to want to keep it for my use-cases at the current price point. Thanks for reading my review and letting me express my opinion on this item.

Great for older John beam machines.
Great quality. Does the job. Different in the respect of using older machine where one has to disconnect yellow line on machine between vacuuming and filling. Great for older machines, Not automatic machines. Saves time, has, the environment 😂. Only down side is the plugs missing to hold taps. So used old set male plugs and fixed to machine.

Good value for DYI’ERS
I have 3 other manifolds and wanted a 4 port this filled the bill. For home HVAC and auto A/C servicing this will get the job done . This is not a Yellowjacket or Robinair and at a fraction of the price it’s of reasonable build quality. With the proper knowledge and experience one should expect good service life . The people that have posted negative reviews about leaking etc. haven’t got a clue that if you over tighten fittings they will leak because the seals will be distorted or damaged! For a technician whom will be using it on a daily basis this is not for you!

Easy to use, saved me money and im much cooler now.
First off, complete novice on AC and this set. My three cars all had poor performance ac during one of the heatwaves. I found this and investigated further. I was told that a gas refill alone would cost me £50. I wanted to be sure this was right and the product was brilliant. 1. Everything you need in one hard plastic case. 2. Good instructions 3. Robust parts, metal valves and decent reinforced pipe. 4. Everything is colour coded for easy set up. 5. Accurate large description gauges. 6. A multi accessory box included in the kit. It allows a one connection point to read the pressure of both the low and high pipes of your ac system. You can then attach and fill or actually release some to avoid overfill damage. It has helped me fix all of the cars and only two needed a gas top up which I did myself. The price I paid was i believe worth it all items paid for in first use by doing it myself. I recommend this product for helping you fix your car AC system.
