I purchased this DVD to recover my operating system after exhausting all my other options. I followed the instructions as recommended but nothing seemed to work even when I was asked to boot from DVD. My computer simply would not respond to any prompt so I figured that my computer was infested with virus' and was preventing anything from happening. Well, I am a persistent individual and shut my computer down for a couple of days and tried again. With the DVD in the drive and pressing the F2 key a window opened that I hadn't seen the first few try's and gave me 4 options. So I placed the cursor over the box marked "reset this computer without affecting your files". It took some time but it worked. My operating system was completely restored, all my files, documents and photo's were unharmed. I did have to reinstall all of my programs, Office, Adobe, printer and others but that didn't bother me at all. I was just totally thrilled that I had my computer and files back. From now on I am going to back up all my files just in case.

My two-and-a-half inch 500 GB solid state drive started failing intermittently after 2 and 1/2 years. I tried to save it by cloning it with a docking station, but the cloned drive exhibited same problems as the original drive.So I purchased this Windows 10 repair disk from EzaLink. The included instructions did not coincide with my Asus safe mode menu. So, after a little bit of confusion, I spent some time restarting my intermittent drive and went to the optical drive where the repair disk was loaded and clicked the "setup".The repair disk loaded the latest version of Windows 10 onto my drive, without erasing my data and applications. Upon completion, that took about an hour, the problem was gone and the windows restarted every time, and all the applications worked just fine. I didn't even need the product code.Before I did this, a repair shop quoted me $200 for for this repair. And here I got it done for $11.Thank you for the wonderful product.

Do not buy this if you don't want to reformat your hard drive, erasing its contents. Also the directions are basic and printed on one page of common printer stock folded up and stuck in with the disc. The directions say you will need to download drivers for your computer from another source.Don't go this route. Reformatting the hard drive is about as "heavy" as it gets. If you have Windows 10 don't try to recover to a previous date if something doesn't work. Seek professional computer repair help. Yes it does cost 200 dollars to professionally fix a screwed up operating system. By using a qualified business owning professional I was able to save some apps and some important e-mail.

This did not work to repair my computer. I followed the instructions to the letter and it still did not work I sent them an email and they sent me a disc for drivers because it one point it said I needed different drivers. They did not send me the instructions on how to work and just too so to put it in and push the start file I did not see a start file. I have tried repeatedly to recontact them and I cannot get through to them

5 stars all the way. This disk did exactly what it claims to do. My computer crashed during a windows update and completely messed it up. It had lost all of the system files and was stuck in a endless boot loop. I did everything I could think of to try and fix it. I bought this disk thinking, what do I have to loose. I followed the instructions that came with the disk, which are very well written, and it worked perfectly. My computer is back up and running after a couple hours of install and downloading windows updates. Thank you very much.

Sounds like there are mixed reviews on this product. Unfortunately it did not work to fix our Widows 10 error. Our computer got the "can't load desktop" issue with the latest Windows 10 upgrade and I thought this would work, but it didn't work. We have a Lenova computer. We found the help email to quickly respond, but not of very much help for our situation. This did not repair, recover, reinstall, or fix our computer.

My computer got into an infinite loop during boot up after a Windows 10 update, and so I called Microsoft and the technician told me I would have to format my hard drive and reinstall Windows. I wasn't willing to lose nearly a decade's worth of data, so I ordered Windows 10 Recovery, Repair, Reinstall, Fix. The program arrived and I followed the instructions. Unfortunately, it didn't actually repair the endless loop problem, but it allowed me to get back into Windows where I rolled back the updates. I would be lost and upset without the program. Thanks.

Works as advertised. Instructions are not trivial, but eminently clearly spelled out. I followed them and in under ten minutes had fixed the blue screen of death, on the computer I am writing this with, which my local computer repair guy - who is good - said he could only do a backup and clean re-installation of Windows 10.

This CD restored my old laptop which had been infected with a Trojan malware and stopped me starting my laptop without paying £175 to have the trojan removed so I was delighted and pleasantly surprised that it worked and now I can use my old laptop again which has everything on it that I like such as an optical CD drive and 4 USB ports and a card reader which the new cheaper one I bought to tide me over until I got my laptop mended again so thanks to this CD it saved me a lot of money and restored my laptop to it's original clean windows 10.

this item does nothing for my laptop so got another windows disc that also did not work can't be bothered to send them back don't waste your money on them take your lap top to a shop get the job done.

After losing the use of my laptop due to Microsoft's dastardly Windows 10 updates I found that having tried all the 'tried and tested' ways to regain function that none worked. Once I used this disk, everything was really plain sailing following the instructions. Normality was returned soon after. Simply superb.

This disc is just the Win10 repair that you get off Microsoft Web site for free.I doesn't do anything more than re-install windows as the repair is very limited.
