It is the very best of what is adequate in this class
I bought this because it was a no modification fit for my 2005 Yukon XL. If you own a 2001 - 2006 GM truck, this requires no cutting and the install kits available work very well. I put some black tape over the bottom bezel (with all the logos and brands) so at first glance, besides the hokey chrome plastic volume knob, it looks decently stock. This is a concern because the door window costs twice that of this radio, and I think the thief would be disappointed in the end anyway. Before you buy, you have to ask yourself,1.Do I need a DVD/CD transport? I know I don't but this model has it, and you can watch movies and all that, but I don't need it.2. Do you need built in NAV? Well I know I DO because if you go deep in the country/mountains/out of cell range your Android Auto/Car Play is dead in the water. No cell = no maps = no navigation. This allows my phone to be used as a hot spot/child entertainment device while the car handles the navigation. I prefer this to remembering to bring/mount/cable a Garmin every day.THE GOOD: So a top tier brand at this price would not have a DVD transport, nor built in NAV, nor built in maps. So this unit is 60% cheaper, but feels only about 30% worse. Its usable, it does sound better than the stock system, and the phone and bluetooth connectivity have exceeded my expectations at this price.THE MIDDLE: It won't remember GPS voice volume settings, it can be kind of sluggish, volume knob is kind of small,THE BADIn the middle of summer I have had the problem of it staying on (even with key far from the ignition) due to a overheating(?) condition or something. Support is a dark black hole of disdain, despair, and dissolution, and the same goes for map updates. Someone please contact me if you've found where to even get NAV updates, much less implement them. The big miss is that it can not multitask. If you get a call while you are navigating, it goes to the phone screen and you can't do anything about it unless you finish the call. It can't do both. It has to completely pause any audio to show backup cam, NAV prompts, alerts, etc. It does not voice over or soften volumes like OEM systems, it stops whatever is going on, makes the announcement, then back to the music. And if you prefer a louder NAV voice, keep adjusting the volume per session. Ugh.So I've had this for about a year, and if I were to do it all over, I would get a top tier brand (Alpine/Pioneer/Sony) unit that had Android Car play and then back that up with one of my Garmin pocket GPS units. The reliability/speed/Waze availability of the newest 2019 units makes this thing tedious. But I do appreciate when I need to drive my 2005 truck I have bluetooth and Nav available like my other more modern vehicles.

FM signal HORRIBLE!
Nice enough stereo. Nice functions. FM stations are dropped ALL OF THE TIME! Even tried a new antenna, signal booster, and the FM stations still drop about every 15-20 seconds, then finds the signal again.I did not see anywhere on the listing to contact seller, returns or any way to a customer service link.I would NOT recommend this unit to anyone who wants to listen to uninterrupted radio.Like I said before, the other functions seem to be fine.

Todo bien, el remoto algo lento, Jay que apretar las teclas varias veces para que ejecute la accion.

Love it!
Seems to be pretty decent for dual. Nav. Is cool and works really well. I also installed a back up camera so that is a great option. I did figure out it will only play mp3 from my usb. It wont play mp4a. It has good sound quality for what I'm using it for but if u have an amp and subs I would recommend using a Sony or pioneer stereo. The radio works really well too. The screen is a little dim when u are in the sun but u can still see it ok. I would say 4.5 stars.

Bad Navigation
The navigation in this unit had a hard time finding the roads I was driving on, and is very unreliable. I use the Nav to remind me what the speed limit is. The volume knob is very slow at turning up and down the volume. There is no way to put your own desktop/background in it, and the ones it comes with our rather bland. Otherwise, the stereo works fine and the sound is good.
