For those of you like me, who found Merrell fit and quality unbeatable for an everyday shoe: get ready. Things have changed.Missing is the all-important Merrell Air Cushion. These have a thin rubberized sole which conveys thin comfort, not the all-day immediate comfort so fondly remembered.I do have a high instep, so I thought to offset potential lack of arch support with a Birkenstock insole. Nope. More arch support, but that thin rubberized sole just cannot be minimized.Instant comfort? Where'd that go? Not here, thanks. Without at least sock liners, I get the beginnings of a blister on my heel.How about at least a great look? Sorry. Can't help you. More of an orthotic shoe-look.Remember how you could wear and wear your Merrells every day for a couple of years? Now that seems more like a threat.So: I didn't get trusty Merrells at a good price. I got a shoe that doesn't feel good yet (after 2 months) and a shoe I don't like.

What's with the wonky sizing in the shoe industry and with Merrill? In my closet I have a pair of black Merrell's from over 5 years ago - size 10. Fit like a glove, still being worn. Then I got a beige pair Merrell's 3 years ago - had to get size 11. But they are the same size and fit as the older 10's. Now I order this shoe in size 11. The length is good, but even with thick socks they are too wide. I had to return them. For those with wider feet, this may be good news. I am disappointed because the shoes are gorgeous and cool! The color is a little darker than shown, but it doesn't matter. They're beautiful. Ah, well.

I love these shoes! I already have a pair identical, but have put many miles on them and love them. Comfy and a great choice for so many things. Not so heavy and bulky as a sneaker, still look nice with slacks or jeans or crop pants. And the color is a nice neutral, not too dark, not too light. My "go to" shoe!!

These shoes are beautiful and I am happy to find them to replace the Lorilei Zip, a favorite MERRELLS shoe, which were discontinued.

Such comfy shoes. I use them to walk to the office, and there change into dressier shoes. But they are so good looking, you can also keep them on with tights all day long. I have also used them for short hikes and in medium-heavy rain. Great shoes.

For my size the shoe was a little big but with a thick sock it`s fine. These shoes are very comfortable. Being a little big they don`t slip at the heel as some shoes will do. I now have 3 pairs!

The only shoe I purchase is MERRELL'S. They always fit as expected. This Sport shoe is so lightweight, I almost forget I have shoes on. I have never had zippered shoes before. I will buy this type of shoe again the zippers are so easy to secure.

These Merrell shoes fit great. I wore them all day when I first got them, running errands and shopping. I was going to order the ones just like these but tied instead of zupped, but Amazon had just sold the last pair that tied. So I took a chance on the zip and it paid off. Super confortable. Love them.
