So fun!
This is so fun for my daughter! She loves it and it brings back memories of my childhood. It lights up and works great! Great for the price too!

Flimsy - still fun though
It's flimsy. I wouldn't give it as a gift because the packaging looks like cheap knock off product, but taking it out of the box also still looks cheap, so it's not going to ever be a gift. I loved my Skip-It as a kid and would stay outside for hours trying to rack up my count. I showed this to my kids, but I think the construction being less sturdy also makes it much harder to get the skip rhythm going. It does light up when you get it going, but it takes a while to get that speed going. My kids had a hard time with it and I think that diminished their interest, but I can still get an OK work out with it.

Didn't last
The kids loved the product but 2 or the 3 broke the same day they got them, we used duct tape on both but didn't work kids were upset they only had 1 to sharewould not buy again!.
