I never really understood the adult LEGO obsession. I liked how the finished sets looked, but always assumed actually building them would feel more tedious than fun. I’d been eyeing this Milky Way set for ages, though, and finally bought it when it went on sale. Welp. I get it now. 😂 I built it over several days in short sessions, and the process was genuinely fun. The LEGO app made a huge difference—you can zoom, rotate, and work through the build step by step, which I found dramatically easier than relying on the paper instructions. The finished piece is also fantastic. It’s colorful, highly textured, surprisingly dimensional, and uses a ton of clever little pieces to create the galaxy effect. It feels much more like wall art than a traditional LEGO set, except with the added satisfaction of knowing I actually built it myself. Unfortunately, it has also created a LEGO problem. Since finishing this, I’ve built an orchid, bonsai tree, and Jeep and now routinely find myself looking for my next project. ✅ Pros: Fun build even for a LEGO skeptic; fantastic app-guided instructions; creative use of pieces; gorgeous finished wall art ❌ Cons: May accidentally turn you into a person who keeps buying LEGO sets

The quality you expect from Lego. Such a cool design. I bought it as a gift and they loved it. Certainly kept them busy for a while. Amazon also sells add on kits (not made by Lego) for this design that let's you add LED lights to the galaxy. Looks amazing!

Love this Lego set. It’s got a lot of little pieces so it takes some time to assemble but it’s nothing hard you just gotta pay attention. It’s been a fun build so far everything you expect from a Lego set

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend and we assembled it together. It was really really fun and incredibly detailed. It’s so pretty when completed and we really enjoyed the process of putting it all together and it’s the perfect size to hang and display. There were no pieces missing. It’s a little pricy but it’s 100% worth it.

My granddaughter loves this is one of her top 10 best

Completed by our 11 year old in about a month. Kind of an awkward size for a poster spot on the wall etc but very cool and full of details.
